It's amazing how typefaces are constructed. This particular character is bound by the intersecting points of circles of various radii.
Our aim in "Computers in Art and Design" was to collate lots of words and interesting type patterns, and then collage them together to make an interesting text piece that could be edited. This one highlights the "Half Price" type.
Art GCSE: Project work – ‘I, ME, MINE’:
I took my favourite chocolate and sweet brand labels and merged them together trying to create my own unique colour contrast, the sticky back plastic layer was added to give the effect of a large sweet wrapper. I love the connection between the food labels and how the each has their own unique typography that instantaneously attracts people.
My design works appeared in design book.
I have spent many time with design, and it has been a rich
and rewarding experience for me. My efforts bore fruit at last.
It couldn't be better than this!

This design uses the 6 titles as the structure for organising the other typographic material. So no formal grid. The typography still adheres to those first principles of one typeface, one change of size one change of weight. In terms of type/information hierarchy I rarely found it necessary to go beyond this. Too many shifts in emphasis can be confusing and there comes a point where you just get confused and lost and the hierarchy is no longer working as a clear navigation.

Boredom at work in addition to a decent array of legos promted an experimentation in lego formed typography. This shows the workers getting busy at putting the final touches on the "N"
