A mango i made with one of my first typography experiments...
It doesn't exactly spell it straight out, but the five letters are there, and only those five.

Just recently finished these sleeves for Manuel Tur's new release. Big typography and paint textures. It was a lot of fun to stick it all together by hand.

So many problems. Where do I begin?
First we have the issue of the different font for the first letter of LaRue. Secondly, we have the font choice for the word "COFFEE". What is with the asian font, particularly when combined with the french name? Then we have the "O" in the word "COFFEE". It is from a different font family and it is smaller, presumably because the "designer" (note my little finger quotes in the air when I say it) was afraid that the decending script "L" needed the space. (that is two separate problems).
Finally(?) we have the smaller LaRueCoffee.com in the lower left. If you look closer you'll see that the "ee" has been moved up off of the font baseline to make the ".com" align with the bottom of the "ff". You'll also note the the "L" here is not a different font as it is in the bigger "LaRue". It appears to be of the asian font, but now includes lower case letters.
What a train wreck.
I submitted this T-Shirt design to Shirt Fight for their Typography challenge. El Presidente, the head cheeze of Shirt Fight, alluded to the fact that he wouldn't "mind" seeing designs utilizing the company's name.
For my submission I set out to form a boxing glove seen through out the website using the text shirt fight.
Let me know what you think.
