Make Something Cool Every Day is a personal, (ideally-) daily design exercise wherein I churn out type-centric black and white drabbles using song titles, the Univers type family (Kozuka Gothic for Japanese type) and some wonderful images from Wikimedia Commons.

work for my typography course

I created this playful typography to use for advertising my own dog walking business. I experimented with creating a paw print incorporating text. By using a range of brown tones I was able to depict dry mud on the lettering and added two animalistic characters from the remaining letters.

Deliberately going for an 80's-y Cyberpunk look. Probably needs a splash of neon handwriting across it :) BTW, that's a totally custom and original font – you like?
