It is difficult to see at this size, but on this boys brow are beads of sweat - a reminder of the heat that these students undergo during their eduation. The odd breeze that blew through the classroom was the only temporary release fromt eh stiflig temperature - and even that was laced with warm dust.

After receiving two new lungs, Ashley Vazquez-Hernandez has made a remarkable recovery and swims as a Lady Scarlet. Tuesday night she used her lungs to swim in three events and cheer her teammates on against Hoover at East High School.

I'm going down to Cincinatti Saturday to visit my older sister. Kings Island on Sunday.
I don't know if I should bring my camera or not. I think I will. I'm really excited, though.
The intervals at practice today. They were so difficult. 1000 meter intervals.
That's apparently the most dreaded practice of the season.

By chance I found these two wonderful one sixth scale glass teapots, which have matching cups, on eBay. They were made by a master glassblower. I bought these two teapots and the two matching cups for each.
He did a gorgeous creating them. What luck!

These are two brothers who are also partners in their Poultry business. They sell their chicken in this open roadside market. I took a candid shot of them from a bit of a distance initially and was planning to move along. They noticed it and requested that I take a posed shot of them together.

Laboratory 3 (National Trust building F2) built between 1955 and 1958, was the climatic testing lab comprising two elements, the laboratory itself and the Condense Pump House to the east. Its function was to either warm or chill a weapon to simulate the variations of temperature that it might face in service. It is constructed from reinforced concrete with a barrel vaulted roof and entered from its south side through a concrete canopy, and whose southern wall was revetted with shingle. To manoeuvre the heavy test objects into position there was a hoist mounted on a beam secured to the underside of the canopy and roof of the main chamber, traces of its fittings may still be seen. Entry into the chamber was originally through double wooden doors, in common with the other earlier Laboratories security was strengthened by the addition of crude welded steel doors which may be post-AWRE features. At the top of these doors is a slot for the overhead lifting beam indicating that the doors were added while the building was operational. The interior comprises a large central chamber, 24.50m (80ft 5ins) by 6.0m (19ft 6in), and is divided into two sections. To the south was the preparation area and on its walls are the remains of electric conduits and small bore pipes for electric cabling. To the north was a rear insulated chamber 13.5m (44ft 4in) in length, which was separated from the preparation area by a cement covered expandomesh wall and a metal clad sliding door carried on an overhead rail. This slid into a corridor to the west that also gives access to a small switch room. The working area of the rear chamber measured 9.14m (30ft) by 3m (10ft) by 3m (10ft) and its floor set on four dwarf concrete walls was capable of supporting 6 tons. The temperature range that could be achieved varied between plus 60° to minus 60° centigrade, and humidity 20° on either side of the ambient, while undergoing thermal tests an object might also be subject to vibration.

Two mallard ducks isolated from their group break up the horizontal layers created by the light on the gentle waves - Courtenay Estuary at 3:08. So today mid-afternoon is my favourite time of the day - when I get a chance to walk along the estuary. ODC - my favourite time of day.

Bud Granley and Ross Granley, a father and son duo, fly their aircraft, a Yakovlev Yak-55 (smaller red aircraft), and a Yakovlev Yak-18T (larger white and red aircraft) respectively, in the Canadian Arctic Aviation Tour over Whitehorse Yukon. These two Russian built planes are very strong and very aerobatic. The Granleys put them through some incredible manoeuvres, flying both in and out of formation.
Spotted two very cohesive sisters from a group of Rajasthani women who had come along with an entire entourage of tourists t Delhi.
I found profound beauty in them .
