The creator of the universe works in mysterious ways.
But he uses a base ten counting system and likes round numbers.

Two bags made from Ellen Baker Luckett's "Stamped" fabric, a fabulous linen blend; from her Pleated Tote tutorial, available for free on her blog.
Sorry if this is getting a little repetitive. I am just processing all of these, and seeing what works.
Two older men in the middle of the photograph are facing the camera. They are both wearing 'mountie-style' hats and sport bushy moustaches. The man sitting on the end of a log is smoking a cigarette. He is wearing a uniform jacket, but with no badges on it. His companion is resting one leg upon the end of a log and is resting an axe on the ground. He is wearing dungarees and a shirt. They are both leaning on a large pile of logs. The edge of the forest is visible in the background.
The amount of wood consumed in the war effort is impossible to estimate but the effect on the landscape was marked. Many of the other photographs in this collection illustrate this. It was many years before the natural and mature forests began to regain their former glory.

Spent two days in Kruger Game Park on safari drives. We saw a lot of critters and well worth the trip.

first try with two valves... the liquid was a mixture of xanthan and food coloring...not really happy about the intensity of it...two blank flashes from behind
As an update to last night's posting of the early hedgehog, about 9.00pm two pale piggies arrived and happily shared their bowl! Another arrived a bit later, after these two had finished, so not battles for them.
#14/52 (Two or three)
Another week that didn't go quite as planned. In theory, this was too good an opportunity to miss, but trying to get my 6 year old son to stand still for a photo proved almost impossible, so not at all what I was hoping for... Catching him without food around his mouth or stuck in his teeth was a bonus though!

Ulysses, NY (back roads)
These two ran out into the road in front of my Jeep this morning. I stopped of course and snapped their photo after they got to the other side of the road.
We're on roll with birds for some odd reason. Must have gotten a feather up our rear end somewhere. This pair if enameled birdies is wandering off into our primitive side.
South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAMB) Mercedes Benz RE10 LHC and crew take a breather at the entrance to Eastbourne Pier on the afternoon of June 26th 2017.
Lancashire, UK. This drone went right over us. I liked the fact that there was an aircraft contrail behind it.
Hotel entrance with two empty pots in Seville, Spain. We did not stay at this hotel, but we did have a great tapas meal at the nearby Mamarracha restaurant. However, we were disappointed when we went back on another day and they were not open during the time stipulated at the front entrance. Still, we'd look them up again the next time we're in Seville.
Possibly St Philip and St Bartholomew? Medieval glass from the 15th-century in the window annoyingly obstructed by the none-too-beautiful organ at Merton College chapel, Oxford.
