I have to smile at how things have changed in England since I was a child. A hint of sunshine and we go all Continental and eat outdoors at every opportunity. When I was younger a few cafés and restaurants had gardens, but they were always at the back of the premises. These days even tiny establishments seem to have seats and tables outside. Of course, we take things to extremes these days and there are hardy souls who will sit outside even when it's freezing cold! I guess the fact that smoking is banned indoors (thank goodness) has a part to play in the change of behaviour too.

Turning Tide. Not often the high tide schedule coincides perfectly with sunset when on the Bay of Fundy. Add the possibility of cloud cover blocking any beautiful light from shining through on those few select nights. But when light, subject, and the moment agree, the camera tells a beautiful story.
