I'm sure that there are countless chitons around the world! It's just that I probably haven't turned over the right rock, or maybe paid enough attention when I did. Anyway, I just found this marine mollusc fascinating with its precision-engineered 8 separate individual plates which allow the creature to move and even roll into a ball!

I haven't done one of these effect images for a while. Thought this image would be the ideal candidate, Hope you like it !
I went to the Japanese garden in Hasselt yesterday. A lot of people there; but I managed to get a clear shot of the waterfall!

Two weeks prior to this shot, I saw the three Whiting Bros & motel signs heading eastbound and tried to make a mental note of them saying to myself, "Self, you need to stop there on the way home because today, we have too many miles to cover"...
The Lincoln Towncar was an added bonus...

A pair of SD60s, CN 5448 and CN 5469, lead train L514 around the high wye at Durand from the Flint Subdivision onto the Holly Subdivision.
The day turns to night, as the night trick dispatcher Bob Welke, settles into his shift at the Wisconsin & Southern Horicon depot. These were some pretty neat times on the WSOR, as the railroad was growing rapidly and all of us were growing right along with it.
