I've been spending lots of time recently taking shots of dogs, horses, cows and all things rural. Just need some time to get on top of processing them.
This is my brother in law and nephew in the countryside near Glossop. He has lots of cattle which will feature soon too.
Didn't know I was so gray until I saw this shot... I like gray, I was hoping that I could grow my beard out BEFORE I looked like Santa!
Kebler Pass, CO in the fall after an early season snowstorm left 5" of snow on the ground. The Crested Butte area is home to stunning views in seemingly every direction and is a must see in the fall while the aspen trees are turning colors.
HSS! processing of the leaves involved an underpainting filter, edge enhancement and burning to define the veins.
“Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go
So make the best of this test and don't ask why
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right
I hope you had the time of your life.”

I came across this old railroad crossing sign while exploring a section of abandoned train track that runs along the Chattahoochee River, in the historic district of the city of Columbus, Georgia. Seeing it brought to mind those times I myself was at a proverbial crossing in my life. Standing in front of it, I ponder what if anything it may be trying to show me, and what direction this sign may lead me.
My neighbour, and photography buddy Raffaella, turned her head while I was experimenting with slow shutter speeds..We were at a meeting with other enthusiasts discussing details about an upcoming gallery show on the theme 'The language of time'- 'Il linguagio del tempo.' My 6 images for the show are all abstracts, hers are portraits.

Allez viens

After some boring „blue sky days“ finally the weather conditions tuned and stormy, unstable weather was approaching. Taken near Vila do Bispo, Portugal.
Nach einigen langweiligen „Blauer Himmel Tagen“ änderten sich endlich die Wetterbedingungen und stürmisches, unstabiles Wetter zog auf. Aufgenommen in der Nähe von Vila do Bispo, Portugal.
A large car/estate from the 50's turns the corner in Centro Havana.
This is a typical scene in this district of the city - an old car, people in colourful clothing, food waste on the floor & rugged buildings/homes in the distance.
