Just mucking around with this tile and thought of this...Not a particularly brilliant build, it just reminded me of the scene in the movie.
We had Chinese dinner with friends in Milpitas, California. A cook was attending the grill outside a restaurant next door in the same small strip mall.
I processed a balanced, a paintery, and a realistic HDR photos from a RAW exposure, merged them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, added strong vignetting, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

I shot this at a recent wedding. I stylized the shot to emphasize the corners and simplify the composition. It feels quite lonely, which is what draws me in. It contrasts nicely with the post wedding shots in which this bride positively beams in her new husbands arms!

Horses and their jockeys come out of the final turn during a race last week at Arlington Park race track. The gray one in front on the rail pulled away to win this race.

Though no clouds, we are able to appreciate the lovely sunset when sky is so clear!! There are different plants with various shapes and sizes in the wetland, and I just love big round ones for some reason... So my shooting is mostly around those trees!

As the sun drew long shadows of him on the ground, turning everything to black and white, he peddled on. The rhythm of the cycle wheels urging him on instinctively to reach his destination...
The story is forming in my head but not quite coming out as I want it to :D Hola all!! yes, I am tripping over black and whites and whites and black, you get the drift right :D I was standing in the balcony with my brother and the shadows being cast on the people and things below was so interesting that I just had to capture it...and I thought the cycle shadow made the most photogenic subject :) Its different from what I usually do, so hope you like it!!
Hope your weekend has been great so far...mine has been super(well!), I got to be a brat and throw tantrums for no reason at all :P anywho, hope the rest of the weekend is super duper great and tantrum-less for all of us :)
The relatively new Malmo landmark - never seen anything quite like it. It is designed by Santiago Calatrava and is the tallest residential building in Sweden at 190 m (in case you were interested).
The landmark skyscraper in the Øresund region, situated in Malmø in Sweden. Built between 2001 and 2005 and architected by Santiago Calatrava, a man also known for the Olympic Stadium in Athens. 54 floors and standing at 190 meters, the building's architecture was inspired by a sculpture with a turning motion ba a human being, hence the name. As there are no other skyscrapers in the region - this really stands out. And watching it - one gets all twisted in the head too. ;-) August 2008.
Turning Torso is a neo-futurist residential skyscraper in Sweden and the tallest building in Scandinavia.
Located in Malmö on the Swedish side of the Öresund strait, it was built and is owned by Swedish cooperative association HSB. It is regarded as the first twisted skyscraper in the world.
The project was designed by Spanish architect, structural engineer, sculptor and painter Santiago Calatrava and officially opened on 27 August 2005. The tower reaches a height of 190 metres (623 ft) with 54 storeys and 147 apartments.
In August 2015, it was announced that the building was the winner of the 10 Year Award from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.[8] It won the 2005 Gold Emporis Skyscraper Award.
