Well I feel like I'm turning the corner in my recovery from my hip surgery and complications. Now its time to move forward and think positive. I want to thank you all again for your wonderful support through all of this. Hope you all have a fabulous day and are able to move forward with me. Hugs!

Note: Both shots were hard to get because of how the run is set up and the fence.

A second shot from the Southgate redevelopment site, through a gap in the perimeter fence. Follows-up this from analogueandy, taken almost three weeks ago. How long does it take to drill a few holes?</naive>

Shooting less directly into the sun seems to have brought out more of the sky colour than in the previous photo.

Giant Archimedean screws fascinate me. If only I had an engineer father who could explain what it's called (piling? drilling?) and what it does [cue Silver Sailor in 5, 4, ... ]

World Turning

Double Arch

Arches National Park

Moab, Utah

Massive Double Arch's main span is almost 150' wide and just over 100' tall. It is the second widest arch in the park, Landscape Arch is tops at 305' wide. This star trail capture had some soft moonlight to help light the arch. Exposure time about 10 minutes. Best viewed on black or just click the image:)
