This is from November, 2010 up Stoke's Croft in Bristol. I think it still looks about the same now, minus the tree + updated posters.
Here are a few of the turtles in the race.
The Alvin ISD Education Foundation Mustang Bayou Turbo Turtle Race is in its 8th year. Held on Mustang Bayou in Alvin, Texas, it creates support for the academic programs of AISD. The Foundation provides funds beyond the normal operating budget for educational programs, student scholarships, and student and teacher recognition.
A gorgeous little thing, goes like a bullet (0-60 in 4.6 seconds - same as a Ferrari 360) but costs a lot less.
