It's May 28, 1978 and we're in Pickering Ontario where we see morning turbo from Montreal westbound into the Toronto area. (This is a going away shot.) Good times back then when 10 or 12 fans from Cleveland would spend Memorial and Labor Day weekends in Toronto. It was fun to sit in the bubble and watch the big speedometer approach 100 mph. Sadly none of the UA Turbos were preserved.

Con mucho cariño para Julio y Sylvia Tapia....... Felicidades!!!!!!!!

Turbo loves pats, but he's not as insistent as his brother, Slim. He'll let me take a few shots before coming over to me. I usually have to pat both of them at once. That's Wright-Locke Farm behind him.

Zoom in for best details. :O

Regrettably, I don't think Adobe Photoshop provides for any easy creation of an image like this.

Despite being a super powerful image editing program, I don't understand why Photoshop does not include easy to implement effects like Google Niks, Topaz, or Corel. Adobe Photoshop's "Filter Gallery" is a klunky dinosaur by comparison to other effects software.

This image was created from an original photograph, simply and easily processed in Corel PaintShop Pro.

I present a crop shot from the modern day darkroom. A prelude to yesterday's posting as stated in the caption, our D&H/Canadian Pacific train #556 had met Amtrak's "Adirondack" at Ballston Spa, NY. I'm pretty sure there wasn't too many meets between MLW's and Rorh Turboliners even though they did go into Montreal on a daily basis. Something to think about. Did these "Bigs" live a longer life than the the Turbos??

Thank you for looking and for your favs and comments. It is a pleasure sharing images with you.
