True confession: It being Valentine's Day and all, when I spied these triangular boxes on the dining room table earlier this morning my heart leapt. It leapt because for one moment of excitement I thought they were GIANT TOBLERONES!
My heart fell in the moment I realized they were not chocolate, but mail addressed to me. However, as it turns out, I think these are some new Goofin' with the Muses posters. Yeehaw. Better than chocolate. If they are I'll be listing them on Etsy later today and notifying those on the waiting list. Happy Valentine's Day and thank you to Canada Post for delivering these early on a day that most things are slowed down due to the weather.
I guess it's true that Seniors tend to ignore the kids in grades below them because I have no clue who these guys are!

I have been tagged by yannah, which means I have to say 10 things about myself. And those things have to be absolutely true.
So here we go:
1. Antje and I seperated almost four years ago
2. I sold my motorbike, because I hit a deer in France. My bike and I stayed unharmed, so I concluded: I had so much luck, I don't want to push it any further
3. Very soon (from november on) I will be living in Leiden. I am registered in Amsterdam since 1982 (although I lived in Berlin for 10 years), so this wil be a major change in my life.
4. Since Antje and Niels left, I feel lonely from time to time. On the other hand, surprisingly enough, life goes on and often even thrills me.
5. I tend to cry when sportspeople do exceptional things. I guess it's the dedication that touches me. That 100% thing...
6. I secretely dream of doing an exceptional thing myself.
7. I love the mountains and I am frustrated that I can't go there more often.
8. I am not a good friend and there are too many people who can confirm this. I guess it is essentially laziness which makes me such a lousy friend. I feel sorry for this.
9. I think I love Italian food best. I like it even better then Thai, Japanese or Chinese.
10. I hate conspiracy theories. I don't want to hear them, even when they're true.
So, that's it. Ofcourse I could have refused to do this, but the idea of writing about myself was too much of a temptation. I mean: what a beautiful excuse to use the word 'I' in every sentence!
Here are my nominations:
About 40 hours into the game now. Impressions is as follows :-
- improved voice acting (overall game and in Skits)
- voiced Skits makes them more endearing
- new battle system is fluid and has depth (though it can be confusing when you mix in the monsters and elements)
- pace of story is slower and feels less epic somehow
- you'd most probably have to play ToS in order to put all the pieces together as far as the story is concerned
