Detail of the 'drop in' . Some aluminium section trimmed and riveted to the shortened TV stand. The material is about 3mm thick so I doubled it up at the top to allow the QR to grip properly.

The BMW 2002 is the car that made those initials - for Bavarian Motor Works, but it sounds so much better in its original German (Bayerische Motoren Werke) - part of the American automotive lexicon. This blue 2002, with its potent two-liter inline four, was the sport sedan to have in the seventies.
This was before BMW became a yuppie status symbol, which diluted the cache of owning one.
so this is my first post with the new EF 16-35 f2.8 L II USM lens! i love how it's an ultra-wide angle perspective but not as harsh as the 10-22. definitely worth its weight in gold! tack sharp too!
