"A grit bin or salt bin is an item of street furniture, commonly found in countries where freezing temperatures and snowfall occur, which holds a mixture of salt and grit which is spread over roads if they have snow or ice on them. A grit bin improves winter road safety on roads which are not gritted by other means, such as from a winter service vehicle."

I asked Claudine if she wouldn't mind jumping for me in front of this work. She was super and worked to help me this one happen.

True evil is about someone who knows the difference between good and evil but chooses evil after it all! They believe that hell is a party palace whereas heaven is a pipe dream. They don't care if they suffer misery for the remainder of their existence, as long as they get to bask in sin! These folks are called Satanists, they believe everything to be natural and sin is only nature because that is what is means to be mortal. For them, order is tyranny and chaos is freedom! Even in their eyes the government is a choke hold on sinners, if there was no government the world would be a perfect place to live (which they will never get).

I met my true love a number of years ago. I fell in love with her on our first date. She allowed me to express myself without judgment, yet she was always truthful with me. My true love lets me take and idea and turn it into reality or take reality and transform it into fantasy. My true love is constantly on my mind and she is with me wherever I go. She allows me to see things such as light, shapes and shadows that would have previously passed by unnoticed. So I dedicate this inage to my true love and Photography is her name. We grow closer together as the years go by and I know that she'll always be with me till the end.
La Sainte-Chapelle (The Holy Chapel) was commissioned by Louis IX (1214-70), Saint Louis, to hold his extensive collection of relics. Construction on the chapel began 1239, and it was consecrated 1248. The chapel held the Crown of Thorns, fragments of the True Cross, as well as the Holy Lance.
The chapel is built in the Rayonnant Gothic architectural style (running between 1240 and 1350).
Taken on Île de la Cité, in the 4th arrondissement of Paris.
This is one out of 30.000 Shots, I took for a series called "A.Drop.Life". No photoshop has been used for the colors, it's all from colored plastic foils.
Again this happens when two drops collide, but apart from the ones before this one was captured I guess... uhm "a few moments" later. :-)
The paint on this mountain bike was inspired by Japanese cherry blossoms.

- My best friend has asked me do to some pictures of her and her boyfriend soon, and since I have zero experience taking pictures of people, MY boyfriend and I ventured out on a beautiful spring saturday to see how we could do. Was hard without a remote and only the 10 second timer. I spend most of the time running to where he is and looking like it took no effort at all. This is just one of the many we took, one of my favorites...
should I post more??

In 2006 Nike unveiled Kobe's first signature basketball shoe - the Zoom Kobe I. Nike Basketball Designer Ken Link was assigned to create the first Kobe shoe - Nike Zoom Kobe. Link's goal was to create a basketball shoe that met the demands of a high - performing athlete like Kobe. Kobe Bryant, who had just completed an MVP season in 2007 - 2008, wanted to continue providing input for the next iteration of his signature shoe, so we have the series of Nike Kobe Shoes.
The Meydan retail development performs not just as an efficient retail complex but as a true urban centre in one of the fastest growing areas of Istanbul. Located in a suburban area on the Asian sector of Istanbul, the site borders an IKEA as well as residential plots to be developed in the near future.
Through its geometry and circulation strategy, the complex anticipates its subsequent integration into a dense inner city context as an alternative to the usual out-of-town retail box development. The different retail spaces are clustered together and parking is placed underground, liberating the ground entirely for a large urban square in the centre of the scheme. The central square is activated though a number of new pedestrian routes, linking the underground car park to the ground level and accessible from the wider city context though two new routes across the roofs of the retail spaces.
To organise the retail volumes as an extension of the surrounding topography rather than as sheds on an asphalt platform – as is common with out of town retail developments – all roofs are connected to the surrounding topography at several points and designed as gardens with extensive vegetation. In addition to physical continuities between the new development and the surrounding context, rooflights are introduced to retail areas that create visual contact between the retail spaces and the gardens on the roofs. In this way, the experience of shopping at Meydan is connected with the urban space beyond.
