Tell your story, watch the essence of your feelings and story instantly captured in drama, song, and movement on stage. Feel the amazement! Witness the connections. Often the audience is moved to tears by the courageous struggle portrayed, or stirred to laughter when witnessing familiar human conditions they too have experienced. True Story Theater was started by Christopher Ellinger in 2001. It’s an
ensemble that uses Playback Theatre and stories from the audience to perform a wide range of improvisational theater, music, and dance forms. TrueStoryTheater.org

Damian was begging me not to ask this couple to take a picture, they were super hardass bikers and he was convinced they'd shank me or something, but they were super sweet and totally stoked to pose. This is why I love shooting at dive bars. No one asks for your card or "what site is this for?" They just smile and give me a Moment.
Our true friends are those who are with us when the good things happen. They cheer us on and are pleased by our triumphs. False friends only appear at difficult times, with their sad, supportive faces, when, in fact, our suffering is serving to console them for their miserable lives. -The Zahir-

One day Steph said to me, "You... you need to get more photos of me that go straight up my nose. Don't make me come over there!"
True story.
