The aftermath of a fire at Gunnersbury Triangle nature reserve in Chiswick. The London Fire Service was called to the site on the evening of Tuesday July 16 and these photos were taken early the next morning. Thankfully just a relatively small area was affected but it could have been far worse with the site tinder dry in this 31C London heatwave. No cause has been established but it might be something as simple as someone leaving a glass bottle on the ground and it later being caught by the rays of the sun. Fire officers are pictured here back at the site the morning after to deal with any further problems. It appears fire / heat can travel underground in the peat soil. Gunnersbury Triangle, currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, is a unique site bordered on its three sides by London Underground's District Line, the London Overground and Bollo Lane. It is adjacent to Chiswick Business Park and Chiswick Park tube station.

Edition binding is a somewhat elaborate process. These are triangles en route to becoming part of our 30th anniversary publication, New World Suite Number Three. There are a total of 300 triangles in this edition of 75 books, which were all cut and assembled by hand in our bindery.

Czech seed beads PRECIOSA Triangles in the shape of a triangle.
PRECIOSA Triangles are made by cutting triangular or twisted triangular glass tubes with a round or triangular hole.
In addition to the existing PRECIOSA Triangle seed bead, we now present the new PRECIOSA Triangle Q-Cut which is manufactured using new Quality Cut production technology. The quality cutting of the tubes guarantees that these seed beads have greater precision and shape and dimensional stability.
We offer standard PRECIOSA Triangles in six sizes: the smallest is 2.5 x 2.5 mm and the largest is 10 x 5 mm. Twisted PRECIOSA Triangles are available in size 5 x 2.5 mm.
The PRECIOSA Triangle-Extra is a special type of these seed beads. It is only made in one size (3.5 x 3.5 mm) and it is exceptional, because it has a rounder shape than a regular triangle.
Czech PRECIOSA Triangles have slightly rounded edges thanks to their advanced technological processing.
Visit our website for more information about the PRECIOSA Triangles

Here, the clay sculptuture is finished and the structural lines have been inscribed onto the surface.
How Marco is getting the lines to flow across 'awkward' areas- like the back of the knee- is beyond me.
Dec. 20-
This is photo #158 on his site. The caption of photo #162 says, " had to start over".
On his Facebook, he says:
___
Dec . 9- "The lines begin, forming the layout of the metal structure that will make up the sculpture. Every connection must be accounted for. My brain hurts a little."
Dec. 11- " I had to start over on the lines. I was thinking in base 2 and it is base 3.
I learned a lot now. I understand the connection between the inner and outer structures. We are still on schedule!"
___
This talk about base 2 and base 3 is also beyond me. The next photo of a leg may have a different pattern of lines inscribed on the surface:
