Inside this little origami triangle box, you'll find an accordion book with a selection from Chief Seattle's speech in 1854.

The box is made of 6 squares of one of my old sheets of calligraphy paper when I was practicing writing this same speech of Chief Seattle, with some added ink. The pages of the book are printed, hand cut, and accordion folded with the last page attached to the bottom of the box.

At the doctor’s office I noticed that I wore my house shoes/showering at the gym/pool shoes to the doctor’s office.

An odd shape in the forest- you don’t see a lot of triangles in the forest.

Thanks for your nice comments - if you still wouldn't know what it is, here is the answer: Its a 50meters high advertising tower standing on the park deck of a big swedish furniture shop ...

And: Hip, hip - this one made it to explore!! #498 for a few seconds, I guess ;-)

This is a refold of the compound of five cubes. I have also uploaded a picture of my first version. This one is smaller. I made it now, because the angles at the Flexible Dodecahedron and Complement are similar to the angles here, e.g. both use 58.3 or 31.7 degrees.

Paper: Hexagon cutted from A3 Elephant Hide painted with Faber Castell Gelatos

Grid: 24 triangles

Model: Alessandro Beber

Book: Origami New Worlds p. 79-81

Folded myself to the advanced section of the book and started with the first model. Think I got the hang of it now, making folding those tessellations so much fun. Elephant Hide is perfect, pushing vertices to the other side very easy.

Detail to try to capture the colour and glittery effect of the paper.

Bournemouth is a seaside resort on the southern coast of England. It's known for having 7 miles of beaches, Victorian architecture and buzzing nightlife in areas such as the Triangle. The resort is also home to Bournemouth Pier, an activity centre with an obstacle course, a climbing wall and a zip line.

all triangles cut and ready to go

I cut these out with no intentions... Would make a beautiful quilt, when I have time to work on it.
