a very nice model by dirk eisner. apparently the number of triangles is mainly constrained by your enthusiasm about folding modules.

I decided to collect several views of the model in the hope of better showing off its beauty.

I got this huge basket at my local co-op. It comes from South Africa. I think it's a fabulous container for our produce.

I printed a sheet with several of the same model and started evaluating each of my current projects against it. It's an interesting exercise to go through.

I put the template up on my site if you want to use it (thanks to Rob for PDFing and adding a legend). Note: Credit to Jack Cheng for the original.

made to complement the first pillow I gifted as a wedding present.

Fabric was bought, and a quilt was started, for a wedding present for my best friend. Sadly, she passed away, from complications of her CF, six months before her wedding.

The fabric was stashed away for years, and when her mother was getting remarried, I finished the few blocks I had started to make her a pillow as a small wedding gift. She absolutely loves it, and a few months later, requested another one so both her couch pillows would match. I proudly obliged. <3

Yeah, it is rather literal.

Sue me.

Half square triangles I started for a baby quilt; scratched for something a little quicker (pressed for time)

Note to photographer: When they are feeding on flowers, their wings are held vertically and constantly vibrate!

This design consists only of triangular frames. I have adjusted the larger Triangular frames to, [I think ] the most optimal dimension. Smaller frames would cause overlapping and larger frames would leave gaps between the larger triangular frames. The larger frames are from paper strips of 36cm x 4cm each and the small Triangular frame is from 21cm x 4cm. This is not a very interesting design. It is also possible to connect 3 Triangular frames in the "Borromean" configuration. It will be more interesting to try it out with Impossible Triangles...later.

This is another Japanese Tangam which I just origaminize. 4 of the 7 Puzzle pieces or Tans are from the Traditional Tangram set - www.flickr.com/photos/61236172@N08/7167846697/

The Trapezium shape piece is just a slight modification of an almost similar piece in the Chie No Ita Tangram set - www.flickr.com/photos/61236172@N08/7167848141/in/photostr...

The odd-shaped piece is similar to one of the puzzle pieces in the "T Puzzle Dissection" but you need a larger paper and do some modifications - www.flickr.com/photos/61236172@N08/7341210208/

Diagrams for all the above mentioned pieces are posted at my new website, kindly hosted by Nick Robinson and generously sponsored by Dennis Walker. - www.nickrobinson.info/clients/owrigami/
