It was nice of Danbo to help me out today. Even his little mouth is a triangle.
Some day ... I will be a queen size quilt ...

The new section of the trail at the Triangle Garden, not quite completed, pushed through by the Parks and Trails Society and being finished by the Townsite Ratepayers Association, all with volunteer labour. The Garden is a small jewel in the city and this extension makes it even better.

I matched prints to make diamond shapes, based on a quilt I saw online somewhere. I did not realize that the way that you pin them determines whether the angle is left to right or right to left. I am going to have to think about how to put these together.
Based on this quilt seen online:

I had the roof of One New Change all to myself this morning. Not much traffic either just the peaceful sound of bird song. Very relaxing!
Don't worry either in case you were wondering I shot this in live-view with the LCD, I'm not daft enough to look at the sun directly through a lens!
One of my favorites things to do is look for things that are out of place. This is a shot of the pucnch-out sheet from a childrens' game. One of the game pieces did not push out cleanly, so my granddaughter just left it. That intrigued me. Naturally that meant a shooting session.
Strobist: one AB800 camera left about 25 degrees through a shoot through umbrella at 1/8th power; one AB800 bare for the background. Fired with a sync chord.
Inside this little origami triangle box, you'll find an accordion book with a selection from Chief Seattle's speech in 1854.
The box is made of 6 squares of one of my old sheets of calligraphy paper when I was practicing writing this same speech of Chief Seattle, with some added ink. The pages of the book are printed, hand cut, and accordion folded with the last page attached to the bottom of the box.
The long shadows cast by this love triangle would haunt their friendship forever, thought Rosella the Fairy, as she realised that The-Prince-In-The-Blue-Hat might love Pinkie rather than her.
Just for fun, I added some bokeh hearts because it just wasn't cheesy enough without them :-)

Thanks for your nice comments - if you still wouldn't know what it is, here is the answer: Its a 50meters high advertising tower standing on the park deck of a big swedish furniture shop ...
And: Hip, hip - this one made it to explore!! #498 for a few seconds, I guess ;-)
Here's a tutorial for making the granny triangles. Please let me know if you have any questions or problems. :-)
