Read to quilt! I wasn't going to put on a border at all but decided it needed to something to make the pattern pop. I didn't want a large border, just something small. Since I love purple, and it is the least featured colour in the charm pack, I settled on a small purple border.
I bought one Moda 'Freebird' charm pack and created 80 half square triangles to make a wall quilt to hang above my desk. This is how I set out the quilt. At the time I was playing with chevron designs and rearranged the coloured blocks to get this pattern.
Three is not a crowd..
Anthurium, from anthos, meaning flower, and oura, meaning tail, refers to the many tiny true flowers that form in the yellow tail-like spadix. These bright red heart shaped beauties are the most well known the world over.

Triangles A polygon is a closed figure drawn with the help of line segments only. In other words, we can say that polygons are rectilinear figures. The line segments with the help of which they are drawn are called the sides or edges of the polygon. The points where two line segments meet to enclose a figure are termed as the vertices or the corners of the polygons & the two sides meeting at a vertex form an angle. Thus, polygons are closed rectilinear figures with a number of sides, vertices & angles.
i just spent a few minutes browsing a blog (well, tumblr) about triangles. i found FOUR images that i'd drawn before i'd hit page fifty.
i'm not sure what to make of this.

The new section of the trail at the Triangle Garden, not quite completed, pushed through by the Parks and Trails Society and being finished by the Townsite Ratepayers Association, all with volunteer labour. The Garden is a small jewel in the city and this extension makes it even better.
Painting acrylic on canvas, size 30+24 cm,2015.This is a decorative work, I love interesting combinations of colors and patterns.
This is just like the triangles in this picture, except that they alternate directions, one spinning one way, the next spinning the other. I love to stare at the lines and see all the patterns that pop out. Hearts and ovals and triangles and hexagons and diamonds and 3-D cubes and snaky lines... It could be really fun to add color to.
I'm not sure why this seems to work better than this, which is almost the same. Maybe I just didn't try hard enough to make the other less gappy? I guess it's just a bit more of an even distribution of the gaps? Hmm.
