One of the headshops in Temple Bar. I like this kind of symbology (that I only know from the Illuminati) the shop uses to convey enlightenment or a widening of your horizon :D does anyone know the origin of this symbology? (I know it's being used on the one Dollar note as well...) (view on black)

From the warm and sunny Sicily to the cloudy, cool and rainy London: thanks to the efficient London Underground, among the many and many things I saw, I also visited Buckingham Palace (witnessing, in front of it, the ceremony of Changing of the Guard), the British Museum, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben (being restored), Westminster Abbey, the London Eye (the Ferris wheel), the Thames with its bridges, including Tower Bridge with the White Tower, the 'aquarium, the Towers (skyscrapers of particular shapes that have characteristically modified the London skylane), Trafalgar Square, China Town, Hyde Park (with the fountain dedicated to Lady Diana), Green Park, St James Park, the Royal Albert Hall, the Harrods department store, Freddie Mercury's London home (in reality you can only see the roof because the boundary wall, with the front door, prevent you from seeing further); a curiosity: I also met a young sweet Chinese girl whom I had photographed in Taormina some time ago (is the world small ??).

Historic houses at the Triangle opposite the Bulldog Pub. Taken yesterday on my morning walk using a compact camera. An HDR image.
As we were coming in for a landing at Dulles, I looked out the window and snapped this fun triangle of colorful trees.

A very rare working is this Wright Streetlite working on the W19. Blue Triangle WS7 is seen at Walthamstow Bus Stn and is on its way to the evening terminus of St James St.
This is detail from my rya rug, which hangs on the wall above the head of my bed. When I see all those colors streaming into my room like rays of sunshine, I feel cheerful.
The design of the rug is from a painting by Niels Nedergard (Danish, 1944-1967). The rug was bought in the Design Quest store in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in the early 1980's.
