2019... some 25km SE of Luxembourg city is the Saarschleife treetop walk. At the end is a tall platform which, on top, offers a nice view on the big curve on the river Saar.

A tree top walk in Victoria that we visited on our Australian adventure a year ago. That’s me (Di) in the purple coat. It was a rainy day, but it is rainforest so I guess that’s what you would expect. A great experience, and we almost had the place to ourselves.

This is a typical view for the northern Black Forest, not spectacular but lovely. The photo was taken from the treetop walk at Wildbad which offers some really nice views over the area.

This structure is part of the treetop walk and probably the reason why it is so popular. I think you could call it a viewing tower but it is much more than that. A spiral wooden walkway slowly leads you upwards until you reach the top level. From there you have a fantastic view over the endless woods of the Black Forest. If you don't want to walk down again you can always use the slide which is in the metal tube in the middle (I didn't, mainly because I was worried for my camera and lens).

I add another capture in the comments.

If you want to see how amazing this structure really is, have a look here:

There were quite a lot of feeders for birds and squirrels in the trees on both sides of the treetop walk and this is one I liked very much. There many interesting details to discover on the treetop walk and I add another capture in the comments.

The photo was taken from the highest level of the treetop walk from where on a clear day you can see as far as France. The view was pretty good that day and I considered myself lucky that it was a day with some nice clouds instead of just a boring blue sky.

Wild Line is the name of this rather new suspension bridge on the treetop walk in the Black Forest which I visited last week. It offers a great view but is a challenge if you have a problem with heights, especially as it is swaying and bouncing as you cross.

This is a tree top walk in the rainforest... Otway National Park, Victoria. It was a dull, cold and rainy day so much sliding required to bring out the details here. and yes, we did climb the tower!

Kirstenbosch is an important botanical garden nestled at the eastern foot of Table Mountain in Cape Town. The garden is one of 10 National Botanical Gardens covering five of South Africa's six different biomes and administered by the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI). Prior to 1 September 2004, the institute was known as the National Botanical Institute.

Kirstenbosch places a strong emphasis on the cultivation of indigenous plants. When Kirstenbosch was founded in 1913 to preserve the flora native to the South Africa’s territory, it was the first botanical garden in the world with this ethos, at a time when invasive species were not considered an ecological and environmental problem.

A part of the Otway Fly treetop walk, this section stretches out on a cantilever from the main framework, it’s a bit springy! Fun though 😊

It was a dull rainy and cold day when we visited, the original photo needed a good deal of sliding and texture to bring out the detail.

There is something refreshing being able to walk at the level of the tree tops and this walk fulfills that with some glorious views of both the bush and of the Swan River, Perth City and West Perth. Happy Fence Friday. The day which had been cloudy had some sunny spots and then moved further into clouds with occasional spots of rain. The Walkway is visible from the regular Ferries moving up the Swan River to and from Fremantle.

ENG: In Beelitz, Brandenburg, nature is reclaiming land. The decay of the old hospital premises with all its buildings and objects can be seen very closely here. The sanatoriums for tuberculosis and lung diseases in Beelitz offer a great view into the past.

You can see a small piece of the treetop path, which is about 320 meters long. Visitors can walk over the unique forest park at the ruins of the Alpine house, reach into the treetops and marvel at the forest that has been growing on the roof of the ruin for over 60 years, at a height of about 23 metres and a 2.20-metre wide wooden footbridge.
