After weeks of self isolation due to the global pandemic that we know as COVID-19 Coronavirus, we are allowed to go out for exercise once per day and keep away from others. A walk in the local woodlands after the rain came today to taste the fresh air and get my limbs moving again.

Off the coast of Saint Augustine, Florida it's all about the light.
Finding it and following it to safe harbor. The light can be seen
from 25+ miles out to sea. It was just recently re-painted.
St. Augustine Lighthouse is located on the north end of Anastasia Island in St. Augustine, Florida. Built in 1874 of brick, the St. Augustine Lighthouse is 163 feet high making it the 8th tallest lighthouse in the United States today. The lighthouse is supposedly haunted and episodes of the TV show Ghost Hunters have been filmed here and supposedly captured paranormal activity occurring in the lighthouse and area, and workers at the lighthouse have reported hearing strange sounds and often see shadowy figures. Today St. Augustine Lighthouse is run by the non-profit St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum Inc and is open to the public. Visitors can climb the 219 steps to the top for great views from this beautiful & fun tourist attraction.
[FYI: Tallest building in town is 6 floors = 60 feet.

Photograph taken at an altitude of Fifty nine metres at 14:01pm on Thursday April 13th 2017 within Villa Ada Savoia, with a surface of Four hundred and fifty acres (1.8 km) it is the second largest in the city and located in the northeastern part of the city. Its highest prominence is Monte Antenne with an altitude of 67 m (220 ft), an ancient archeological site.
During the summer, the park hosts the worlde music festival and the "Roma incontra il mondo" (Rome meets the World) festival against racism, war and the death penalty, an anual event since 1994.

Photograph taken at an altitude of Sixty eight metres at 12:55pm on Thursday April 13th 2017, off Via Salaria, within the gardens of Villa Ada Savoia, with a surface of Four hundred and fifty acres (1.8 km) it is the second largest in the city and located in the northeastern part of the city. Its highest prominence is Monte Antenne with an altitude of 67 m (220 ft), an ancient archeological site.
During the summer, the park hosts the worlde music festival and the "Roma incontra il mondo" (Rome meets the World) festival against racism, war and the death penalty, an anual event since 1994.
The tall trees are Stone Pines (Pinus Pinbea),also known as the Italian Stone Pine, Umbrella Pine and Parasol Pine. Thes magnificent trees are from the Pinaceae family, and native to te Mediterranean area.

This photograph was taken at 04.58am on a beautiful Springtime morning in the Golden hour around sunrise (Sunrise was at precisely 05.44am), at an altitude of Twenty nine metres on Friday 24th April 2020, off Bexley Lane and Rectory Lane within Foots Cray Meadows in Bexley, Kent.

The fresh youg leaves of a Hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) tree in the Italian Gardens of Trentham Gardens in Stoke-on-Trent heralding the arrival of Spring.
Reputedly. parts of the tree could be made into a tonic which could help to cure exhaustion, whilst the leaves were used to treat wounds.
The tallest tree in the forest catches the light of the rising sun. This spectacle would last no more than 5 minutes, as the sun soon disappeared behind the overcast.

I was originally enrolled into the GETTY IMAGES collection as a contributor on April 9th 2012, and when links with FLICKR were terminated in March 2014, I was retained and fortunate enough to be signed up via a second contract, both of which have proved to be successful with sales of my photographs all over the world now handled exclusively by them.
On November 12th 2015 GETTY IMAGES unveiled plans for a new stills upload platform called ESP (Enterprise Submission Platform), to replace the existing 'Moment portal', and on November 13th I was invited to Beta test the new system prior to it being officially rolled out in December. (ESP went live on Tuesday December 15th 2015 and has smoothed out the upload process considerably).

Black howler monkeys are one of the few primate species with different coat colors in males and females—a trait called sexual dimorphism, which is a broad term that includes differences in size, behavior, and other characteristics between males and females of the same species. Males have a black coat, while females are blonde. Black howler monkeys have a prehensile tail without hair on the bottom side, which they use for grasping during locomotion. The upper molars have sharp, shearing crests that are used in grinding leaves. They move slowly using a quadrupedal mode of locomotion and they have five-toed, grasping feet. The large hyoid bone (Adam's apple) that allows for their loud call restricts arm movement, so howler monkeys rely heavily on their tail for locomotion.
