Again the result of playing a little with my friend PS to have some settings explained for an other friend.
I found this arrangement at the beach today and thought it might be good for playing :)
This slug was on a journey! Moving at a very rapid pace for a slug....sliding up the tree. We saw a number of slugs on the tree trunks. This one was especially pretty with the light shining through her.

For Jereme I tried something new: blue to purple chameleon pigment body blushing with glossy finish to showcase the translucency of the Ice resin. I painted her a pair of stilettos that continue the same body blushing as if the stilts were an extension of her body.
Her wig with Japanese style hime cut is made from a custom rainbow dyed alpaca that shifts from lavender to pink and orange. I love the way alpaca hair falls and moves perfectly naturally in miniature. It's my favourite wig material!
The OOAK gown is made of organza chosen for its transparent and sculptural qualities. It has a simple seven piece construction in the base and hand stitched ruching for the sculptural detailing.

Earlier this summer, I posted images of clusters of delicate waxy and translucent pinky-white Ghost Pipes, aka Ghost Plants, that had freshly emerged from moist, humus-rich soil as well after the flowers had been pollinated and turned into dark brown seed pods atop stiff dehydrated woody stocks, in my estimation more akin to corpse plants, another name for this herbaceous perennial flowering plant that does not rely on photosynthesis as does not contain chlorophyll. In the image below, seed pods are shown from tightly closed capsules until they open up to fully release and disperse their tiny seeds, each about 0.5 millimeter in length. Upon opening the photo album, you’ll see the flowering plant maturing with time as well as macro-shots of its seed pods. By scrolling down the photo album, one can view other images of this mythical plant taken during the month of August. Landons Bay is in the Thousand Island, Ontario.
