Taken in my front yard as the sun was going down in Lakewood, CO on

May 9, 2008. These are suckers at the base of our maple tree.

Seen on the 120th St. stairs in Morningside Park.

Spotted this tiny (about 1.5mm long) Flower Crab Spider waiting for its dinner. The sun came out at just the right moment!

I finished my sister's birthday present! :)

I made her a vintage handkerchief dress to match her eyelids. I also handpainted 3 of her eye chips. This was my first attempt at a semi open mouth, it was fun! ♥

Isle Lewis Tolsta Beach Acrylic Paperweight made 40 Years ago circa 1969/70

When I first saw this I thought it was someone spraying live, somewhat in the style of deuce 7, but when I looked closer I saw that it was a paste-up on translucent paper. I think this one looks a bit like the robot from Metropolis.

This bugs translucense blends right in to the bloom.

This weekend (April 16/17) the tulips were at their best in the Bollenstreek area. Bright colors everywhere!
