These are at most about 1/8 inch in size. I find the shape of them to be stunning!

Never in my life have I seen water so translucent and so clear as on that particular hot and sunny day on the beach which is depicted here. After a 3-hour long hike it was very enjoyable to cool down and relax in the sea. But as our world is rapidly polluted, how long will we be able to enjoy this pure and clean water in its most beautiful form? (Bay of Bréhec, Bretagne. France.)

Pardo Translucent Art Clay over crackled silver leaf on Kato pearl. I used more of Jackie's flower canes and drew the curlicues with Pigma Micron pens.
This is the first time I've used the Pardo translucent. So far I'm loving it. For more info check my blog

Nice little spider, waiting for a meal. No idea what type of spider, but I love the translucent stripes.
This one-legged gull was playing in the updrafts created by a ferry on Sydney Harbour. I love the way that its wings and tail are translucent and that you can see the golden glow of the late afternoon sun is reflected on its belly. Note the other gull bottom-right corner :-)
