This "phantom church" is an image of Emanuel de Witte's Interior of the Oude Kerk, Amsterdam (1660) that was printed on a translucent banner hanging in the atrium of the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts. It announced (and celebrated) the museum's 2011 exhibit, Golden: Dutch & Flemish Masterworks, in which the actual painting appeared.
The red Hibiscus was found growing next to the white ones, just a few days ago. It sure dresses up the nearby fence.

Mandalorian armor bore the iconic sigil of the mythosaur skull. It was instantly recognizable across the galaxy. I built this for a LOLUG 16x16 mosaic challenge—and it’s translucent!
forgot what this is called. they are bell shaped and hang from small trees. they are kinda big and I've been waiting for the light breezes to stop so I could get under one without it constantly moving around. I needed the morning light too. I think it came out pretty good. I might try again tomorrow morning to do a little better. we'll see.
Brisbane Ranges National Park is located broadly between Bacchus Marsh & Geelong, west of Melbourne. Whilst it may not have the visual stunning features of some places, it is a very quiet place for contemplation (esp mid week).
