So far the transition from summer to fall has been pretty abrupt. I was in shorts just a week again and now i'm struggling to keep my feet warm at night with temperatures in the 30s. In honor of my cold feet this picture does a good job demonstrating how nature is changing.
Just like the seasons come and go so do relationships. Seasons can fade from on to another, or like this time around, be an abrupt change. You knew the glories of your favorite season had to change at some point, even knowing this you were never quite ready, you never got your coat out of the closet in time, never appreciated the weather to the fullest. It happens, we get busy, things change.
We truly don't know if this will work. Transition is a social experiment on a massive scale.
What we are convinced of is this:
If we wait for the governments, it'll be too little, too late
If we act as individuals, it'll be too little.
But if we act as communities, it might just be enough, just in time.

Spouses and friends are not allowed in the transition area. This is the place where the triathletes store their bikes and running shoes, etcetera. There are bikes in there worth more than my car, so it's to be secured at all times. In the morning prior to the event's start, everyone is rushing around to make sure everything is in its place and in working condition. This was shot from the other side of the fenced in transition area at 5:45 a.m.

Not my original 2/52, but it fits into my life so much better and means so much more to me.
Growing up is strange. Life is strange. You'd think by this point in our lives, things wouldn't feel so transitional, so constantly changing. At least not your perceptions on the world. But in the past few months, everything has changed. Everything is still changing.
Gender transition is “the process of ceasing to live in one gender role and starting to live in another”. Most often to make this happen, a person undergoing gender transition needs the services of medical and other specialists, who either help guide them through the process, or enable theme to get other services and needed items (such as hormones). These gatekeepers help make the magic happen, but it's the person who undergoes transition that directs the process.
The model for this image was Jackie, who worked in a fabric shop next to the one in which I read Tarot, and who was a good reader herself

What matters is the moment of Change.
The phase of Transition.....
The breaking moment of a Day..
The birth of a Child....
The Sunrise...
The Sunset...
The Tidal Waves.....
Good or Bad.....
This small passage of Time is all that matters.
Like the birth of a Red - Green Flag
Like the end of slavery of my Country...
These colors of Freedom emerges...
To announce new days ahead.
Captured from Sonargaon, Bangladesh. Rainy Season is approaching with tender green sprouting leaves.... while red hot summer days will end very soon.

i love watching transitions - in the sky, in the water, in the forest...
this beautiful sky greeted us on our way to school...
I decided to start shooting again and just absorb the bits of my world with my camera. I love how in San Diego, September is merely the transition between summer and autumn, rather then being the month of autumn.
Bike transition at intersections are well done.Transition is smooth and easily maneuverable at 15 mph
I'm really happy with how the natural light in the image transitions from light to dark and the ferns are reaching for the life source that is the light.
I'm quite sad this shot was goofed up technicly by me. Like a few others from my day at Seward Park I had forgotten my ISO was cranked up to 3200. I should have known 1/640 was insane at f/4.
