Sorry about the quality. The icon is old, has been restored and is located quite high, and the limited space of the temple does not allow reducing the shooting angle. But without this and other icons of this row of the iconostasis, the idea of it would be incomplete.

This is the River Manifold where it passes through Ilam Park. There is dense shady woodland on one side giving some striking contrasts between the still, slow moving blackish water and the sudden articulation of white as it falls over the small weir before quickly returning to it's previous state. it made sense to present it in Black and White - usual dreamy treatment too of course!

Unlike Charms, which deals with style and flair of the wand while you cast, Transfiguration is more systematic. It requires the caster to multiply their wand power and concentration then divide it by the product of viscosity and body-weight. All of this, plus a fifth unknown factor, is what contributes to a successful transfiguration.
Chapel of the Transfiguration has got to be thew cutest little church anywhere. The views are outstanding, the log work is workmanship at its best. What a place for a service.

Years ago I started to wonder: "why reaching the top of many peaks if, in the end, I can not live fully the mountain in all it has to offer?".
From that moment my priority has been to experience the mountain for what else it can offer than the "normality"... far away from the quest for the classic "sunny days".
In fact the mountain shows its true soul when the sun is low on the horizon, when the mists rise, when the weather gets worse, when unthinkable light situations occur... behold, in those moments I began to discover what I would have never imagined and what really matters was before my eyes :-)
Here you can see the Vajolet Towers, located in the heart of the Rosengarten, Dolomites, transfigured by the fog during the blue hour.
A vision that, certainly, might not reflect the everyone's desire of "take a hike in the mountains", but that fully represents my research of places and situations objectively particular, out of the norm.

Figure of Osiris,Egypt,Late Period, 664-332,leaded bronze
Osiris is most most often represented as a shrouded mummy,emphasizing his transformed state.He holds a flail and a short shepherd's crook,insignia associated with Egyptian kingship,and wears a long,braided beard,emblematic of divinity.On the front of his tall crown is a uraeus,a cobra ready to spit fire at his enemies.The horns may link him as a sun god,who often appears as a ram-headed man at the end of the day and during the night.
Osiris appears multiple times on Nedjemankh's coffin.These depictions are meant to enhance the deceased identification with the god and help ensure his transfiguration and successful entry into the afterlife.
The Collegio del Cambio frescos are a series of allegorical fresco paintings in the Audience Chamber (Sala delle Udienze) of the Collegio del Cambio in Perugia, painted by Perugino.
In 1452 the Arte del Cambio was authorised to set up a headquarters near the fringes of the palazzo dei Priori. They built the building between 1452 and 1457. In 1496 they decided to commission Perugino to decorate the building's Audience Chamber. He was then among the most in-demand artists in Italy, leading studios in both Florence and Perugia.
They signed the contract with the painter on 26 January 1496, though he mainly worked on the cycle in 1498, finishing it in 1500. His assistants on the project included Andrea d'Assisi and probably the young Raphael for the figure of Strength and the face of Solomon. He was paid 350 gold ducats on 11 June 1507. Vasari praised it in his Lives of the Artists:
This very beautiful work was praised more than any other which Pietro [Vanucci] painted in Perugia, and today the inhabitants of this town value it as a memory of a highly esteemed representative of their fatherland.

The islet of Ioannina is the third largest monastery center in Greece at least in number of Monasteries.
Talanto = Wooden Signal
The wooden marker, also called talanto, belongs to the category of percussion.
For centuries now, it has been rhythmically struck in many monasteries of our country by a metallic or wooden hammer, called a thorn, used to awaken the monks or to congregate them for the fulfillment of their sacred duties.
Depending on the impact, however, the purpose of this meeting is expressed,
It is made up of an elongated plank or a metal plate, which tapers on the edges and has three, four or five holes, symbolizing respectively the Triune God, the Cross and the five human senses, which must be alert. up to five holes.
The sound, depending on the sign, symbolizes the teaching of the Old Testament, the steps of God in Paradise when visiting the protoples but also the call of Noah for the entry of the animals by pairs into the ark, the teaching of the New Testament, the presence of the incarnated God on earth and His preaching, as well as the given talent, which man has to use, according to the parable of the talents, as a "unit of weight" of works of art and faith for the salvation of the soul.
The Chapel of the Transfiguration is a small log chapel in Grand Teton National Park, in the community of Moose.[2] The chapel was sited and built to frame a view of the Cathedral Group of peaks in a large window behind the altar. The chapel, which was built in 1925, is owned and operated by St. John's Episcopal Church in Jackson.
The chapel complex is composed of the chapel itself, an entrance canopy that incorporates a small bell tower, and a storage shed. Access to the chapel is by boardwalk, leading to a beveled plank door with decorative ironwork. The 22-foot (6.7 m) by 50-foot (15 m) T-shaped chapel has exposed log interior walls with stained glass windows on either side.[6] Behind the altar on the chapel's axis, a picture window frames a view that substitutes for a stained glass composition.
The chapel was built to serve guests and employees of the dude ranches that stretched north of Jackson along the base of the Teton Range. The chapel was built in 1925 prior to the establishment of Grand Teton National Park in 1929.
In the comment section below are pictures of the Chapel Complex, The view through the picture window behind the alter, and the pews inside the chapel
