This is the old steam train track of Eerbeek, it Runs from Apeldoorn to Dieren and is still used, mainly in the summer for a recreational steam train.

My 3rd build for Iron Forge 2025 round 1. The seed part is 'any mudguard piece with only one wheel arch' used 4 times in this MOC.

My little nephew Chase turned 2 last weekend and had a Thomas the Train party. My brother said minimal fondant so this is what he got! No matter... Chase had two slices and that is all that matters!
I took a days holiday no Friday and visited the Severn Valley Railway for their Autumn Steam gala. One of the more appealing aspects to me was that the trains run all through the night.... even the goods train. Here ex-GWR 0-6-0ST number 813 takes charge of the evening freight at Bewdley station. Note the light trail as one of the crew attaches a lamp to the front of the engine.

On 12-24-16, I thought this westbound getting a warrant on the CP Chicago Sub would be the daily 473 train, but it turned out to be an extra rail train, as seen at Genoa, IL.
Transfer of cargo from a semi to railroad boxcar at a small town railroad station. This small town has a vintage passenger locomotive display near the station. Trains and station by Murdoch17.
This is an image that I played with in Photoshop's Pixel Blender to try and create an oil painting effect. I got the idea after watching a tutorial by Gavin Hoey. This is being submitted for a 'just for fun' competition for TipSquirrel.
The pixel Blender has an annoying limitation in CS5 (Probably the same in other versions) where the size of the image that can be worked on, can be no larger than 4k x 4k or else you get the error "The image dimension exceed the hardware capabilities of your GPU." That is from the Adobe forums. Hopefully they will update the plug-in.
Anyway, hope you like it and sorry for the massive resize of the original image, but this was the best I could work with :-)
In 1934 Goose #6 was built from the body of a Buick sedan and a Buick engine. She runs on two trucks, the rear one is powered. Most of the parts used to build #6 came from Goose #1 which had just been scrapped. Number 6 replaced the steam-powered work trains on the railroad, she never saw regular passenger service.
Later, #6 was rebuilt with Pierce-Arrow body and engine. Today she is preserved at the Colorado Railroad Museum and is still operational.

MTA New York City Transit has brought back the Holiday Nostalgia Train for 2012. The train runs on the M line between 2 Av and Queens Plaza every Sunday from Thanksgiving through New Year's. It's made up of subway cars in service from 1932 until 1977. Ceiling fans, padded seats and incandescent light bulbs were state-of-the-art when these cars were first placed in service.
