This simple obelisk in the north-eastern corner of Victoria Park, East London, is dedicated to the men of nearby Hackney Wick who died in the First World War.

Despite the high levels of redevelopment in the Docklands, there are still some areas which have yet to be redeveloped.
This piece of land is located at the junction of Wapping High Street and Bridewell Place.
During the London Olympic Games large screens were put up in several locations around London. The Victoria Park London Live site ran from Friday 27th July until Sunday 12th August, and also incorporated a stage, bars, food stalls and entertainment, as well as three screens showing BBC coverage of the Games. Entry was free.
Pelican Passage, just off Cambridge Heath Road. The marker is dated 1863 and is inscribed "St. M B G", which probably refers to St Matthew's Bethnal Green.
