a moment suspended in stillness. she reaches toward the window not to escape, but to feel the warmth of the light — as if its presence might speak. between the rhythm of shadows and the silence of iron bars, there’s a calm defiance. she isn’t waiting. she’s listening.

When there is nobody to touch me. No hands and lips caressing my skin. Only me in my I-loneliness. And no other to be touched. Nobody there to put her head in my lap asking for TLC. Then I have run out and am out of touch. Then, I start working on my frustration, converting it into 'projects', 'to-do-lists' and begin to depersonalise love into 'attitudes'. There is nothing wrong with this. It is just that I can't get out of my skin, I also need to touch and to be touched. Love is personal.
Spending some time at a library with my little friend reading some touching thoughts written by children...
One tree almost touching the surface of the loch.
Taken along the loch-side walk at Fyvie Castle using an infrared 'Super Goldie' (590nm) filter in a digital converted Nikon D80.
The usual effect of the Super Goldie is to make the sky deep gold, and the trees blue. This shot is SOOC, and the water is golden, and the leaves a gentle blue.
There's a link to another shot in the first comment field. Both shots were taken within minutes of each other - the infrared Goldie filter can still surprise me!
There's more about shooting in infrared here: Infrared adventures on my Inedita website - if you are interested in what IR photography can offer you ;o)

A lovely, foggy afternoon near the Carbon River Entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park in WA. All I had to do was give thanks, point the camera in the right direction, and hope I had a clue what I was doing today.
ISO 64 is so right on for moving water and I'm sure the amazing Hoya HD3 polarizer was on there.
Many thanks to our wonderful friends for stopping by and taking a look. You all are the very best! <3

I couldn’t quite manage to fully capture the grandeur of this night as the most vibrant part of the sunset was in the opposite direction, but this still showcased a beautiful portion of it. I loved how vibrant the pink sky was and the red rock that shot up to touch it! The Lord’s work is so amazing!
Continúo con los bosques y esos mágicos momentos que la naturaleza nos regala, espero que os guste y muchas gracias por vuestros comentarios, un saludo!
