It was late afternoon and the fog and mist rolled in. Momma and her baby (who is getting big now) came in for a drink. Its touching to see them, as they show their affection towards each other.

Northern Gannets are monogamous and mate for life. Pairs form, and renew their bonds, at the breeding colony, which may contain thousands of pairs in close proximity to each other. Once partnered, male and female greet each other at the nest site each time they reunite, the males shaking the head, the females offering the nape for the male to nibble. They also engage in so-called “mutual fencing,” wherein they face each other, often touching, calling, shaking heads side to side as their bills clack together, bowing, and finally preening each other’s neck.

Bambi has just taken a drink of fresh well water, and is perhaps asking her friend, Luna, what's up. I was doing some work outside there barn.
From this angle, the two shelfs look like they are touching. But actually, they are separated by just a few inches.

As a youngster, a loner, I spent a lot of time in Musea, admiring the Flemish Masters, I so loved their light!!! I do aim for it in my photography!

A high-rise building in Los Angeles, California. It's located across the street from the Petersen Automotive Museum at the intersection of Fairfax Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard. It's a great landmark to use when driving to the Petersen (although it's really tough to miss the Petersen).
Glacier National Park and specifically the Many Glacier region of the park is an incredible place filled with mountain lakes with stunning backdrops! This particular morning, the clouds were thick and partially obscuring the mountains creating a very dramatic and moody morning. As the morning went on the mountains became more visible as the clouds slowly lifted. This reminds me of how currently much of the glory of God is obscured by the sin and evil in this world, but one day it will fully be revealed to all mankind. Jesus will come back in all of His glory on the final day and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is LORD!
This mountain, called Nevis Peak, on the island of Nevis spent most of the day touching the clouds. It was interesting to watch the clouds come and go. .
