Looking Close on Friday - Wearing Socks
Thankfully I could find a newish pair of socks ... normally I'm in odd socks :)))
They would be lonely without our touch, would they not? They are hungry for our love, our gods. Without it, they hardly exist. Some have already been forgotten.
A day of mixed weather back in February of this year. Stob Coire Sgreamhach, which is part of the Bidean nan Bian massif was catching the sun for a short while showing off it's fine peak.

Pedra do Baú (also known as Baú Complex or Pedra do Baú Complex) is a set of gneissic rocks from the Serra da Mantiqueira located in the municipality of São Bento do Sapucaí, state of São Paulo, Brazil. The culminating point is the Stone of the Baú (altitude of 1964 meters and 340 meters of height ), known for harboring some routes of sport climbing.

A cow and calf reindeer (rangifer tarandus) caught in a touching moment. Photographed inland of Jokelfjord, in the Troms region of Norway.
This is becoming more of an occurrence lately, finding Ray and Kaiser 'touching'. Perhaps because they are old men now. Ray, we think, is probably around 15/16 years old and Kaiser is 15 years old this August.

As soon as I reached the Tranquility Bay this morning I was greeted by this Whistling Kite. It quietly flew in, spent 5 minutes on the tallest branch and left quietly just when the high clouds moved in.
