Little moments of happiness, this encounter with a young ibex, and then this wild landscape revealing a marvellous glacial lake with turquoise waters.
Petits moments de bonheur , cette rencontre avec ce jeune bouquetin , et puis ce sauvage décor qui laisse se dévoiler ce merveilleux lac glaciaire aux eaux turquoises.

Willow-wood dam (Rijsdam) on the Wadden, at Wierum, created initially to reclaim land but has no function nowadays except for a stark reminder of the cultural history of the Wadden Sea: the battle for land between man and nature which takes place from the Middle Ages to the present day.
Mont-Tremblant, Québec, Canada (位于加拿大魁北克省的Mont-Tremblant). It was a cloudy day until later afternoon/evening when golden light gently swept these beautiful ski resorts. Lured by the forecast, I had been waiting there for a while, imaging how beautiful it would be when golden light touches Mont-Tremblant. (panorama of 4 individual shots)
One of the few spots in Holland, that isn't flat is the Posbank. On this early august morning, the heather is in bloom. Just after sunrise the lights touch the rims of the hills. The soil is still cold and a little groundfog fills the valleys in between. A photographer's wish comes true.
I spent over an hour at this spot near Mount Saint Helens in 2015, watching all sorts of light and cloud combinations evolve. In this brief moment, the clouds, highest peak, and sunlight all came together. Also standing out are the white tree trunks left from the nearby volcanic eruption 30 years earlier -- plus a variety of huckleberry and vine maples showing fall red and orange.
Reflections of a beautiful sunset as clouds brushed the mountain tops (most of that snow has melted now but there's sure to be more as the weather changes)
