Bought myself a torque wrench so I can tighten the bolts on the wheels of my car with the correct amount.
Here's the left wing's torque tube after completing the installation. I haven't added torque seal to the new hardware yet because I'm not happy with the threads showing above the aft nut.
The addition of a washer below the bearing to make the holes in the torque tube line up without pre-loading the structure has caused the upper locknut to not have any threads protruding above it, so I'll probably remove it and replace the full-width washer between the aft nut and the bearing with a thin version.
Of course, with all of today's shenanigans, I've now applied torque to that nut and removed it again several times, so the nylon locking mechanism inside the nut is probably questionable at this point. I'll likely replace the nut with a new one once I'm certain that I won't be taking this damn thing off again.

The Westland WS-51 Dragonfly is a licenced version of the Sikorsky S-51 after Westland acquired the license rights to the Sikorsky S-51 in 1947. It was replaced in British service by the Westland Whirlwind (itself a licenced built Sikorsky S-55). This HR.5 example (WG724) was 'rescued' from a processing yard in 1974. Its latest restoration was complete in summer 2008. Westland also made a private venture improvement on the Westland WS-51 Dragonfly called the Widgeon (also at this museum).

So in terms of price, this is the best value for money bike.
