An extension to the lighting circuit wiring has enabled some lampposts to be installed on the second baseboard. I've also lit the tube station and cinema.
The station is in the style of those on the southern extension of the Northern Line , designed by Charles Holden. This is a one off model, but the similar angled style is available in the Kingsway Models range.

I was hoping for the 73’s to be allocated on this, but had to settle for second best. Gbrf pair 66726 Sheffield Wednesday & 66707 Sir Sam Fay are seen approaching Tooting Station on the 15th of October 2019, working the 03:39 3W90 RHTT working from Tonbridge West Yard to Tonbridge West Yard.

With thanks to the driver for a splendid toot and burst!
A historical steam train coming back from the weekend's SteamFest in the Hunter Valley, passes through Gosford Station. And a work colleague, who volunteers on them, calls out to me from the back!
Stopped by the C&H plant in Crockett, California. I have wanted to get some shots of this building for a long time. The bar looked cool too.
Not a part of today's move, but I couldn't resist a photo of an LU TA, as they won't be around much longer. This is TA316 at Tooting Broadway as it makes it's way between Kingston and Clapham Park. Most of this 03 batch were stood down some time ago and are giving good service to new owners. Tolworth garage currently use a mix of TAs and VLEs on the 57. 24/12/15.
Another test build of the Charles Holden Northern Line station, this time renamed Tooting Bec which is very similar to Balham. amongst several minor changes I have reshaped the paving to more closer follow the shape of the building.
The instructions for the kit have now been written and very soon a new kit will enter the Kingsway range.
The Bath Bus Company has announced that its Cardiff sightseeing service will not be resuming in 2024. This originally operated as part of the City Sightseeing franchise but was rebranded as Tootbus a few years ago.
The most recent fleet of four vehicles comprised a pair of open-top Ayats Bravo 1R Citys and a pair of partial open-top East Lancs Visionaire-bodied Volvo B9TLs, which were based at Cardiff Bus's Sloper Road depot.
Rewinding the clock to August 2015, when the City Sightseeing brand name was still in use, two former Dublin Bus Alexander RH-bodied Volvo Olympians - P718 PWC and P772 PWC - were allocated to the Cardiff operation. The latter is seen with a decent number sitting upstairs in Wood Street in the City Centre when undertaking another circuit.
Granada Theatre (Gala / Buzz Bingo), Tooting. The stage and front stalls area.
Opened as the Granada Theatre in September 1931, designed by Cecil Masey, with interior design by Theodore Komisarjevsky, and murals by Lucien le Blanc, recreated by Alex Johnstone. It seated 3,104 (1,354 in the balcony), was equipped with a full stage (the screen was flown into the flytower), a café, a 4 manual/14 rank Wurlitzer organ and a staff of 85. It closed suddenly as a cinema in November 1973, and lay disused until converted for bingo in 1976. Grade 2* listed in 1972, this was upgraded to Grade 1 in 2000.
