I should be working and instead I did this just in spite, I reckon.
I've bought those arches for something completely different but they didn't work as I thought where I wanted them. And then just when I was about to toss them aside I thought they would make an interesting cowl for a modified version of Adam's T-bucket - the window piece sits here the other way around, with studs facing forward. And while said cowl doesn't make a proper T-bucket as desired, it works well enough for the Saxon I've built a while back.
Offsetting the grille mask by half a plate gave me a little headache but eventually I did it, so I can visually "kill" the square corners of the hood from just about any angle. And since I was on the job, I've also squeezed the proportions a little so I can fit the wheels I originally wanted for this car. They're still a little bit too small in diameter, but I like a lot how they feel and work on this car.

The American Hotel sign in the background is gone now, as are the telephone poles and lines; however, Crockett is still an interesting town, as Branden Frederick has found out.
A little engine crosses the street in front of a vintage car and filling station while giving train rides on Children's Day at the Boothbay Railway Village, Maine. We took a ride on the train ourselves just before leaving and Iggie stopped to thank the engineer who showed him briefly how the engine worked. They are very nice around there.

Little Toot is the Macduff Shipyards wee workboat for Buckie. Berthed behind is one of the assorted salmon fish farm vessels that they build. Obviously not taken today as it's been chucking it down all day!

There is one of these "Mixed Blessings" bakeries in Camberwell. Perhaps it's a small chain of shops. I understand what they hope to imply with the name, but "Mixed Blessings" somehow doesn't convey the right meaning.
