This is Malvern House on the corner of New Road and Park Road in Solihull. I first saw it a couple of weeks ago when walking past on the other side of the road (New Road) but forgot to come back and get shots of it (until today).
I discovered on Heritage Gateway that it is a Grade II* listed building, and it used to be The Old Grammar School.
It is currently To Let.
Solihull School moved to this site in a house in 1615. It stayed here until 1882 when it moved to School House on the current 50 acre site of Solihull School.

Panoramic shot. Only way I was going to get the full New Road facade into one picture. It mostly lines up (I think).
This is 433 Church Road in Yardley. Formerly it was the Cottagers Institute. It was set up by Ebenezer Hoskins of The Grange to teach gardening and industrial skills to local people.
On the gable it is dated 1882.
The Cottage Institute: It began as a meeting hall to encourage gardening and industrial work for villagers. The Instutues occupies the orginal site of the ring of bells.
Seems like The Ring of Bells used to be a pub (on this site, not sure about the building).
To the left of the Cottagers Institute is 431 Church Road. Dates from the 18th century, altered. Grade II listed.
C18, altered. Pebbledashed; all tile roof. Two and a half storeys; 3 bays. Ground
floor with central door with segmental head and big lintel stone and 2 large almost
square window. First floor with windows above those of wound floor. Attic
storey with small square windows above the others. All window casements, those of
the ground and first floors with segmental heads.

At 29 Park Road.
Don Pelayo (¿? ITEM ORDO GOTORUM OBETENSIUM REGUM. 1. Primum in Asturias Pelagius rg. in Canicas an. XVIIII.
;AQVI YACE EL SEÑOR REY DON PELAIO, ELLETO EL AÑO DE 716 QUE EN ESTA MILAGROSA CUEBA COMENZO LA RESTAVRACION DE ESPAÑA BENCIDOS LOS MOROS; FALLECIO AÑO 737 Y ACOMPAÑA SS M/gEr Y ErMANA;

www.vilaghelyzete.com/2019/10/az-5g-sugarzas-es-technolog...
Utolsó pozíciómban a Microsoft Kanada igazgatója voltam.
Ezért hoztam létre a 'kanadaiak a biztonságos technológiáért' szervezetet.
Ezek a következők:
- Álmatlanság, fejfájás, fáradtság, szívproblémák.
Mindez a vezeték nélküli sugárzásnak való kitettség miatt.

I left the Jewellery Quarter via St Pauls Square, then headed down Ludgate Hill.
Found various restaurants / bars in the former warehouse buildings.
These buildings was the Sao Paolo Bar, but from the looks of it now, it isn't and is for sale / to let.
It was possibly an Italian bar / pub. It says on it Sao Paolo Trattoria. Also says Gastronomia.
Think it is at 24 Ludgate Hill. Not sure why Sao Paolo closed down.
Before it was Sao Paolo, it was the St Pauls Tavern.
Public house dating from the Victorian period. The building is of three storeys and is built of brick with a traditional pub frontage to the ground-floor, the roof is of slate.
Pub sign of the former Sao Paolo bar on Ludgate Hill.
Franklin Court cuts through an entire city block on the former site of Benjamin Franklin's home at 316-322 Market Street. Although razed in 1812, a "Ghost House" frame, built by Robert Venturi in 1976 for the Bicentennial, depicts the exact positions of the original 3-story house, 33 square-foot, ten-room house and adjacent print shop, while excavations underneath reveal the original foundations, privy pits, and wells. Six museums on the site, also built in 1976 for the Bicentennial, trace Franklin's life as a publisher, politician, postmaster, printer and inventor.
Below the court is an underground museum filled with paintings, objects, and inventions associated with Benjamin Franklin. The United States Postal Service Museum, at 314 Market Street, features exhibits that include Pony Express pouches and originals of Franklin's Pennyslvania Gazette. The B. Free Franklin Post Office, at 316 Market Street, is the the only active post office in the United States that does not fly a United States flag--because there wasn't yet one in 1775. At 318 Market Street is an architectural exhibit about Franklin's interest in fire-resistant buildings with fully exposed walls, revealing wooden joists separated by masonry and plaster. At 320 Market Street is the Printing Office and Bindery, with demonstrations of 18th century printing and binding equipment on display. At 322 Market Street is the General Advertiser, a the restored office of The Aurora and general Advertiser, the newspaper published by Franklin's grandson, Benjamin Franklin Bache. 322 Market Street also claims two famous connections--James Wilson, an editor of The Aurora, and grandfather to Woodrow Wilson, the 28th President of the United States, who lived there; and Sarah Josepha Hale, editor of Godey's Lady's Book and author of "Mary Had a Little Lamb," who worked there from 1837-1877.

Things I've noticed from the bus on Bradford Street. Been meaning for a while to get shots from Bradford Street, but I don't fancy getting all the old ex factorys / warehouses.
I keep seeing this place from the bus. A former factory or warehouse, now gutted and now a car park, except it hasn't been used as a car park yet. They are still waiting for it to be let as a car park.
It was Good with Wood (UK) Ltd.
The In and Out parts seem to be open all day, so anyone can get in, such as grafitti vandals (notice the grafiti on the back wall).
It is at 48 Bradford Street.

Former 'Store Kneepkens', architect F.P.J. Peutz / restoration T. Vandenbergh (1939 / 2007).

The school had existed since 1560 in the Parish Church of St Alphege (a short walk away from here).
Otherwise known as Malvern House. Mid C18. Red brick, old tiled roof. 2 storeys
and attics with 2 storey 2 window gabled projections, with brick copings, either
side. Central 4 panel door in architrave surround with cornice on consoles. Sash
windows and some casements with wooden transoms. Mby incorporate earlier structure
of mid C17. Late C19 additions on left and at back.

On the right the Cyclists Dismount sign.
At 29 Park Road.
I keep spotting this pair of buildings from Moor Street Queensway. Thought they were worth taking.
This is on Albert Street (Saint Michaels Catholic Church is nearby)
I think that this building is 20 - 26 Albert Street. Dates from 1898, although it looks modernised.
Currently looks like all the units are available to let.
20 - 26 Albert Street of 1898 by J A Chatwin, the entrance with a big broken pediment bitting a two-light window.
From Pevsner Architectural Guides: Birmingham by Andy Foster.
This window was on 20 - 26 Albert Street. Maybe Ecotec are using both buildings (upstairs maybe?)
Still why are there units to let, couldn't Ecotec take them all up?

This is 433 Church Road in Yardley. Formerly it was the Cottagers Institute. It was set up by Ebenezer Hoskins of The Grange to teach gardening and industrial skills to local people.
On the gable it is dated 1882.
The Cottage Institute: It began as a meeting hall to encourage gardening and industrial work for villagers. The Instutues occupies the original site of the ring of bells.
Seems like The Ring of Bells used to be a pub (on this site, not sure about the building).

Everywhere I went in London, they were missing the "i" in their "toilet" signs.
There were "toilets" in office spaces (like in this photo on the Heathrow runway... random place to put a toilet if you ask me), in flats, in restaurants... you name it, every area had a "toilet"... but they all were missing the letter I!!
I know they have public bathrooms on the streets and stuff, but at least work on the spelling, UK. Sheesh.
I hope you get this... haha. I know these signs don't mean "toilet"... I just wish someone told me before that cop did in Picadilly Circus when he caught me... never mind... ;)

Manufactory, formerly a pair of dwellings with rear workshop ranges. Early C19.
MATERIALS: Red brick with bracketed eaves to a hipped slate roof and plain band corniced chimneys.
PLAN: Rectangular plan comprising a pair of former dwellings with workshop ranges extending to the rear.
EXTERIOR: Near-symmetrical three-storeyed frontage of four bays onto Caroline Street. The fenestration consists of revealed sash windows, some of which retain their glazing bars. The ground and first floor window openings have painted stone sills and reeded lintels flanked by shallow consoles to thin cornices over. The entrance is sited in the second bay from the left. The door case has engaged, slender, fluted Greek Doric columns which support an entablature and open bracketed pediment. There are plain reveals to the round-headed doorway and a six-panel door with a plain fanlight. A panel above the first floor windows reads `PICKERING & MAYELL LTD / RELIANCE WORKS'. The north return (Kenyon Street) of the attached workshop ranges which extend from the rear of both houses retain some original wooden-framed multi-pane windows.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: To the front (west) are cast-iron railings with crescent heads of distinctive Birmingham type.
HISTORY: The area around St Paul's Square to the north west of the city centre was developed as a residential and industrial zone from the 1820s and was eventually to become the Jewellery Quarter. The jewellery-case-making works of Pickering and Mayell Ltd, known as Reliance Works, was built in around 1826, originally as a pair of houses (Nos.41-42) with rear workshops. Early occupants included the noted Birmingham silversmiths George Unite and Nathaniel Mills. The company of Pickering and Mayell has occupied the premises since circa 1900.
SOURCES: John Cattell and Bob Hawkins, The Birmingham Jewellery Quarter: An Introduction and Guide (2000), pp. 14, 48
REASON FOR DESIGNATION: 42 Caroline Street is designated at Grade II for the following principal reasons:
* Early-C19 dwellings with rear workshops that retains the distinctive architectural and plan form characteristics of a jewellery-manufactory building
* Strong group value with other listed jewellery manufactory buildings
* It exemplifies the early pattern of development of a manufacturing district of Birmingham now considered to be of international significance
