Don Pelayo (¿? ITEM ORDO GOTORUM OBETENSIUM REGUM. 1. Primum in Asturias Pelagius rg. in Canicas an. XVIIII.

;AQVI YACE EL SEÑOR REY DON PELAIO, ELLETO EL AÑO DE 716 QUE EN ESTA MILAGROSA CUEBA COMENZO LA RESTAVRACION DE ESPAÑA BENCIDOS LOS MOROS; FALLECIO AÑO 737 Y ACOMPAÑA SS M/gEr Y ErMANA;

This pub was the Spotted Dog. It's last owners renamed it TJ's after themselves (the owners were called Theresa and John).

They may have renamed it as there was another Spotted Dog in the area.

It now appears to be To Let.

It is on the corner of Meriden Street and Bordesley Street.

It dates back to 1810, with later pilastered ground floor.

I discovered on Heritage Gateway that it is a Grade II* listed building, and it used to be The Old Grammar School.

Things I've noticed from the bus on Bradford Street. Been meaning for a while to get shots from Bradford Street, but I don't fancy getting all the old ex factorys / warehouses.

I keep seeing this place from the bus. A former factory or warehouse, now gutted and now a car park, except it hasn't been used as a car park yet. They are still waiting for it to be let as a car park.

It was Good with Wood (UK) Ltd.

The In and Out parts seem to be open all day, so anyone can get in, such as grafitti vandals (notice the grafiti on the back wall).

It is at 48 Bradford Street.

This is 433 Church Road in Yardley. Formerly it was the Cottagers Institute. It was set up by Ebenezer Hoskins of The Grange to teach gardening and industrial skills to local people.

On the gable it is dated 1882.

The Cottage Institute: It began as a meeting hall to encourage gardening and industrial work for villagers. The Instutues occupies the orginal site of the ring of bells.

This is Malvern House on the corner of New Road and Park Road in Solihull. I first saw it a couple of weeks ago when walking past on the other side of the road (New Road) but forgot to come back and get shots of it (until today).

I discovered on Heritage Gateway that it is a Grade II* listed building, and it used to be The Old Grammar School.

It is currently To Let.

Solihull School moved to this site in a house in 1615. It stayed here until 1882 when it moved to School House on the current 50 acre site of Solihull School.

The school had existed since 1560 in the Parish Church of St Alphege (a short walk away from here).

Otherwise known as Malvern House. Mid C18. Red brick, old tiled roof. 2 storeys

and attics with 2 storey 2 window gabled projections, with brick copings, either

side. Central 4 panel door in architrave surround with cornice on consoles. Sash

windows and some casements with wooden transoms. Mby incorporate earlier structure

of mid C17. Late C19 additions on left and at back.

Malvern House - The Old Grammar School - Heritage Gateway

At 29 Park Road.

A very modern design of tubular metalwork (Steel?) and glass.

Situated on the road named Ten Pound Walk.

I believe it dates from 2006 but still looks ultra sleek and modern in 2021

What it does:-

Known as Doncastebic. Affordable easy in / out office spaces (fully networked, easy to use and available 24 hours a day) a short distance from Doncaster Town Centre with easy links to the motorway network.

An office building to let on High Street in Warwick.

At 3 High Street. Grade II listed.

2.

Simple C18 2 storey plus attic 7 window red brick facade with sashes in

wide moulded cased frames and heavy glazing bars to first floor. Gauged

brick arches. Plain key blocks, string band at first floor, sills, moulded

cornice at eaves and plinth all in painted stonework. 4 dormers with pediments

of steep pitch in well weathered tile roof. Carved wood doorcase (off

centre) of curious "Masonic" design with attached "Egyptian" columns. Stained

glass formerly in tympanum inscribed 'Shakespear Lodge ... founded 1791."

Early C19 inner reeded doorcase. Interior: panelled room and C18 staircase.

All the listed buildings in High Street (South Side) form a group.

Lad in the Lane is a public house seen on the Bromford Lane in Erdington.

There was a To Let sign up on the building as I walked past it up the dual carriageway.

I previously spotted it from the 11A bus the previous time I went up to Erdington.

Mesteremnek

Mesterem, e képet tisztelettel, szerettel, megbecsülésem jeleként ajánlom becses személyednek,

Nagylelkűségednek, hisz oly sokat törődöl velem,

Hisz irányítasz vezetsz, s az élet mocsarából az Útra vezetsz.

Mester: Mely útra gondolsz, oh tanítvány? Hová vezetlek?

Vilmos: Amely a valóságba viszen.

M: Dehát olvastad az evangéliumot.

V: Igen, olvastam, s a képben is ez folytatódik tovább.

M: Miért?

V: Mert az út végén, a hegy tetején ott vannak a régi sziklába vájt remetelakok.

M: Ez mit jelent neked, oh, Vilmosom?

V: A megváltást.

M: Hol van ez a hely?

V: Magyarországon, Mátraverebély-Szentkút. Itt, a képtől jobbra, lent található a Nagyboldogasszony bazilika is. Mely egy csodálatos szent hely.

M: Meglátogatnám.

V: Csak szólj, s leszel vendégem, e hely a lelkeknek mindig nyitva áll. Valóságos isteni menedék.

M: Miért túlságosan meleg a képen a színárnyalat? Hiszen hűvös volt akkor, amikor a kép készült.

V: A kettő nem mindig függ össze.

M: Na de csak van oka,

V: Igen, a kihangsúlyozás. Valaminek a kiemelése.

Több száz évvel ezelőtt itt remeték éltek, akik vitték, hordozták a lángot.

E láng, mely remete lakjaikban mindig világlott, most a bazilika rejtekében fénylik tovább.

M: Vagyis a remeték mindig élnek.

V: Ugyanúgy, mint ahogy Boldog Özséb lángja is él a jelenben is Pécsett, vagy Budán a sziklatemplomban, úgy e remeték fénye itt is folyton-folyvást jelen van.

M: Ez szép. Meglátogtom a helyet.

V: Nagyon szép kegyhely.

M: Láthatnék egy remetelakot?

V: Igen, mindjárt felteszek egyet.

M: egy kis verssel zárd e diskurzust.

Remeték, remeték, Remete Szent Pál emléke nem emlék,

Példaképetek ő, veletek él, ti vagytok a követők,

Mily kicsi a mag, s mily nagy lesz a fa, nagyságotok, szerénységetekből eredő,

Hol vagytok? Miért üres a lakotok?

www.vilaghelyzete.com/2019/10/az-5g-sugarzas-es-technolog...

Utolsó pozíciómban a Microsoft Kanada igazgatója voltam.

Ezért hoztam létre a 'kanadaiak a biztonságos technológiáért' szervezetet.

Ezek a következők:

- Álmatlanság, fejfájás, fáradtság, szívproblémák.

Mindez a vezeték nélküli sugárzásnak való kitettség miatt.

Seems like The Ring of Bells used to be a pub (on this site, not sure about the building).

To the left of the Cottagers Institute is 431 Church Road. Dates from the 18th century, altered. Grade II listed.

C18, altered. Pebbledashed; all tile roof. Two and a half storeys; 3 bays. Ground

floor with central door with segmental head and big lintel stone and 2 large almost

square window. First floor with windows above those of wound floor. Attic

storey with small square windows above the others. All window casements, those of

the ground and first floors with segmental heads.

No 431 was a General Store until the 1960's. It was described as being newly built in 1796. It has a coach house at the side of it.
