A series of collage cards created using hot wax, serviettes and tissue paper. Despite being my first attempt at this technique, I am really pleased with the outcome!

This was final piece for my Art A-Level coursework project.

I can see that someone is hard at work.

The salsa was on the tables so I filled the dip part of the container with flowers

Layers:

1. gesso

2. collage (various paper scraps)

3. brown India ink drips

4. gesso

5. messy journaling with gold Sharpie pen

6. acrylic sealer

7. collage (tissue paper & magazine cut out)

8. washi tape

9. doodling with black Sharpie pen

10. black India ink circles & splatter

These are three atc's I made. The substrate is watercolor paper. I painted and then added tissue paper that I had printed words onto. I used vintage photos of girls, and printed them onto cardstock. I used pencils to give them some color. I put a strip of decorative masking tape at the bottom, printed out the words and glued them on, and added stick-on rhinestones for a little sparkle. 2012

While I was wrapping a present the other day, I noticed this very flat addition to the tissue paper.

This was final piece for my Art A-Level coursework project.

Made a light tent using a couple of cardboard boxes, some tissue paper, two pieces of white poster board and some tape. Cost less than $5 - flashes not included!

This week has been rainbows in the sky week. I thought this would be fitting to upload. It was made for me by my son. I loved it!

My little guy's version of our fluffy easter chicks *grin*. He started putting the little tufts of tissue paper on with his pencil end but decided it was quicker and easier to just slap on some squares to fill the space. LOL. blogged @ rosinahuber.blogspot.com/2011/04/fluffy-tissue-easter-chi...

This was final piece for my Art A-Level coursework project.

The darker colors looked nicer (I guess because it constrasts better with the white center). The flower on the left has a pearl bead center, the lighter yellow on the left has a tissue paper center.
