Yay! I got my order from Johnny Cupcakes (a t-shirt and something for someone special but shhh don't tell, and if he reads this i'm screwed...I almost gave it awayy! AH!) Anyways, I love the packaging they come in! So cute! Unwrapping it all is always the best part!

This is an almost complete overview of all my stickers. Duplicate sheets were left out and I also didn't receive some Halloween stickers I bought on Etsy when I took these photos, so they aren't included sadly.

pen on paper

I added a few cheap and easy bits at this stage, just some leaves from a sizzix cut out. Some german scrap would be lovely at this stage also.

Taken at St. Albert Botanic Gardens. I love the way the petals look almost like tissue paper. It looks so delicate with such fine details. It's almost like it's too brilliant to be real; yet it's too perfect to be made by human hands.

Yes, clearly I haven't decided which way is up! By this stage the crayon is starting to make some of the celtic knotwork pop out a little more. The paper towel / dinner napkin in the bottom left hand corner has been partly sanded away but what's left is delightful texture to my mind. A hint of blue-green is introduced with the crayon in the top right hand corner. Why this colour? No idea. Certainly hadn't planned on it.

Little over view of the packages without the polybubble mailer I mailed them in.

I have more color options for tissue paper, I just didn't get to take pictures of them yet.

Not quite sure what was wrong with this girl... wasn't really coping with clinging to stuff, or coordinating flight. This did mean however that I could break out my macro kit, and have a good few tries to get a reasonable shot.

Partially successful, in the end. Tried a few different focus stacks, none of which came out clean, and most of the unstacked images lacked enough interesting sharpness. Don't think I got the most out of the subject either... the wasps at Maumont are rather more interesting looking than our usual local ones. You can just about see the simple eyes on the top of the head, less obvious than these ones I shot a little while back. Not something I've noticed on wasps before.

Strobist info: the usual SB25 camera left, probably 1/4 power through a tissuepaper diffuser.

The performer is released from the string of the cloud, either by cutting it herself (continious performance) or by starting Piece 3 by already being ‘cut down’ (fragmented performance).

From cutting many many circles out of tissue paper for my tissue paper flowers.

The performer stands up from underneath the ‘cloud’ and by this her head disappears into it. Stillness. Blackout.
