For people...

who Love different watches!! :)

This watch was made in June of 2015 and came in the original box

Timex 1957 Marlin after crystal polishing. Watch still not working longer than 1 or 2 hours.

Timex 1979 Electric marked "Dial England" on the dial at six. Watch works well and keeps good time with new battery. Crystal is scuffed and needs polishing.

Timex is an iconic watch brand that needs no introduction. I recently picked up one of their Marlin models and I'd like to share more about it with you guys.

This is one of the various Timex Marlin models released in conjunction with the 70th anniversary of Charles M. Schulz's "Peanuts" cartoons - another icon of the mid 20th century- featuring the beloved comic book characters of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, etc.

I'm not an horological expert or serious watch collector. As both a TIMEX and a Peanuts/ Snoopy fan, I just wanted to share this new watch with you all.

Classic Timex from J.Crew. Freaking love the watch band. It's even more fluorescent in person.

I've owned this machine since 2003 or 2004. Since then I've replaced:

battery

cd drive

hard drive

memory

top cover + trackpad

keyboard

screen hinges

lcd

Note the attractive piece of tape I have to use to keep it closed - the latch no longer lines up correctly.

Although this is only a 667mhz g4 with 1GB of ram, it works surprisingly well for basic web browsing, etc. Flash videos are a bit much.

My workhorse. Anyone else have ancient laptops they still pull out occasionally? My work laptop suffered a hard drive crash so I had to switch back for a couple days.

Timex 197(?) Sprite with nice Red and Black dial. Watch is on the small side for a men's watch and could be a boy's or ladies' watch. A favorite.
