Leica IIIf Red Dial Self Timer + Leitz Elmar f=5cm 1:3.5 Red Scale with Nooly + Fujifilm Superia X-TRA 400
Timer - taken shortly after coming to stay with us... permanently, of course!
(I love his face too - reminds me of a tribal tattoo!)
He's the biggest mushball, too. Just loves to be loved and hugged and played with. Sleeps in my bed when I'm not there, tries to squeeze on there with Tari at night, but she usually kicks him out somehow... :D
Bill & Rusty rode with Darek & me to the Prime Timers of the Desert at Hunter's this evening. After a drink or two Scott & Ferrel joined the four of us and walked to LULU Bistro for supper before heading home.
When we go camping in Lincolnshire we visit a farm shop at Saxby (Between Market Rasen and Lincoln) and it's owned by a Mr Neave. This time when we went we saw this great old tractor.
Apparently it's the one that Mr Neave's dad bought when he first took over the farm in the late 1940s. It still works. And Mr Neave jnr is currently doing it up
Depo's first trip outside. She was mainly kept inside, much to her annoyance. One of her famous trips outside was on Christmas 2006. It was 11:30 at night, Christmas, a chilly 12 degrees and there was a severe ice storm happening. My husband was coming in from shoveling our driveway and Miss D shot out the door as he opened it. She slipped on the ice and fell, when she got up she freaked out, bolted to our backward and ran up a tree 20 feet. I spent 20 minutes trying to coax her down, only driving her another 10 feet up the tree. I started to panic, knowing how cold it was, how small she was and knowing that she was soaking wet. I made my husband get out our ladder and climb the tree to get her- in the ice storm. This frightened her more and she went out on a limb. I was hysterical at this point and beyond terrified that she was going to die of pneumonia. My husband got out a hatchet and chopped down the huge branch she was on, it fell on me and I managed to grab her as she was running back to climb the tree again! Depo was fine, but hardly grateful to my husband for risking his life for her. Of course! Cat logic!

Making a timer to control lights on an architectural model. Used a lazer print ironed on to the blank pcb as an etch resist. Surprisingly easy, usable result first go. Just waiting for tiny drill bits now.
