Several hours of the 2010 Exeter Twestival squeezed down into a minute of timelapse video.

A very brief glimpse of a Tahoe night sky timelapse.

I would have loved for this to have been longer, but I've been continuously running into problems with my hastily planned timelapses. Maybe next time.

We needed a stable power supply for the Camera that would last 24 hours so we put this ugly hack together. It worked beautifully.

First timelapse experiment, shot from inside the apartment of this morning's sunrise. Music is The Album Leaf - On Your Way.

Taken today from the Windy Ridge viewpoint which sits over the top of Spirit Lake and gives great views over the lake as well as Mount St Helens crater and Mount Adams, Mount Rainier and Mount Hood all showing up on the horizon.

This timelapse is a 180 degree sweep starting with the North East corner of Spirit Lake with Mount Rainier in the distance and then sweeping round past the sun which was beating down and finishing up with Mount St Helens volcano (and the dust being blown out from the crater area) in shot.

test of timelapse with DSLR and uploading to Flickr.

This was taken with a Canon 40d and a 18-200mm lens. Camera was set to P with ISO 100 and a lapserate of 1 frame per minute.

I need a shorter duration for smoother playback so will have to play with the settings.

Mountain bike trip through the Maze in Canyonlands, Utah. Actual timelapse coming soon.

Another timelapse shot of passing vehicles. This one was taken on Rollstone Road.

Experimenting with night sky time-lapse and exposing correctly for the moon. Turns out to be a much higher shutter speed than you might think. This is the entire sequence as shot, including test exposures and focus tests. Music is Known(1) by Autechre.

Another timelapse, with the mirror involved.

The images are straight off the camera, nothing done to them except to create the video. I think there's a 1-pixel or so shift about half way through - not sure how that happened.

Over 1000 canon 7D still images made into a 30fps video. TC-80 used taking an interval shot every min. 16+ hours of captured melting over the span of 2 days in the Austin sun (60F during the day, high 30s overnight).

On a personal note, took a paper wasp sting to the neck during the making of this! Unprovoked attack while I was taking down the gear in the dark! Why do I get stung doing a timelapse in winter, but never had a problem with all the bug macro!? Long time coming...
