a failed(first) attempt to create a timelapse video for the entire trip.\
Music created by me on Garageband.
A timelapse video of the thunderstorm in Oulu, 30th of July 2012, shot from my balcony. There was quite a lot of lightning, but somehow all of the lightning bolts avoided being captured... Also the memory card wasn't fast enough to clear the buffer of my camera after each individual shot which causes the video ending too soon. Better luck (and a better memory card) next time!
Had a crack at doing some timelapse with my 50D. Shot this from the deck, as you can see no effort is too great.
Images converted to jpg and resized down to 1080x720, then combined using Quicktime.
This is a total of 3800 still images that I took when I was driving back from Huntingdon on Thursday 9th Feb 2012.
This is my first attempt at Timelapse photography, and I think that I have just jumped into the big end of the pool
A quick timelapse test using my new Aputure Timer Remote Controller for my Canon cameras - this one is number 11 of a series of simple tests - 10s intervals and over 1000 medium rez jpegs results in this sort of thing. BTW the view from my office on top of our house :) Music 'Airborn' by GaryPHayes - more at GaryPHayes.com !
A timelapse showing a moonflower opening and wilting. The plant only flowers once or twice a year, and the flowers open for a few hours only.
This is my time lapse, I decided to incorporate a few different timelapses in one because I couldnt decide on which one I liked better ! Thanks for watching !
10min of my Andreja being idle compressed into 30sec. This is where my machine is constantly losing water.
They're growing on a wire and it was really windy today, hence the wild motion, but I love the beginning when you can see them open. Also look out for the vine leads, searching for something to hold on to.
Series of photos thrown together into a timelapse: sunset over New Jersey taken from a bus going down Route 22. Looped four times for effect, music by me and Garageband loops.

This is a shot from my fourth timelapse with the GoPro Hero.
I recently took a trip out to my Dad's for his birthday and mounted the GoPro on the hood of the car while leaving the city for the country.

Circa 1998, made with a video camera. One frame per minute, I believe.
I appear in one frame near the start, standing to left of lamp post, looking at camera...
Day 67
Time to give the iPhone Camera an outing.
Timelapse taken on the drive home tonight.
The iphone app is very polished, by the time i got out the car it had already completed processing the video.
On the phone its stunningly smooth and crisp, Flickr uploading has introduced artefacts.
i see more projects on the horizon.
The light was varying considerably, and the clockwork head was a bit wobbly in the strong wind. One frame every 5s, rendered at 25fps.
