Timelapse SAAB 9-3 Aero 2010 & GoPro Hero 3+ BVlackEdition

My first attempt of a time lapse photography. It was unplanned and didn't go really well. But i hope you'll enjoy it.

[ Hong Kong on May, 2017 ]

680 Canon EOS 350D images stitched together. Frames were taken 12.5 seconds apart, and the final film is rendered at 10fps.

Going to the laundrette and back I appear in frames 42, 43, 44, 45, 226, 227 and 228.

First Timelapse

2nd Attempt.

Using a Zenitar MC 16/2.8 Fisheye

About 540 frames, 15" each, @ f/3.5, ISO1100 (ugh.. I know...)

Spans from 8:45pm -> 1:30amish...

Tired a timelapse tonight, no plan really, just planted the camera and set the remote...and waited. The lens was slightly out of focus (stupid me). I used my a55 with Tokina 11-16 lens. 202 images, adjusted in Lightroom before exporting to 480 height and processed using JPGAvi / Windows Live Movie Maker. This is only the third time lapse I've tried. Perhaps if I try to do them more than once a year I can get good at it. For now I am just winging it to see what happens when I do this or that.

Hung out with some family around a campfire the other night... tried some timelapse stuff, got some good notes, will try again sometime.

this is a frame from a night timelapse I tried. It's my third attempt at a timelapse.

Coming down to the city (3600m above sea level) from El Alto (4200m above)

My first attempt at a timelapse video. I've got 2,302 full size JPGs that I've squeezed together.

Photos were taken at an interval of 2.5 mins, and the video is 24fps, so 1s of video = 1hr of footage.

[Had to cut out about 5s (or 5hrs depending on your point of view) of 'nothing happening - waiting for materials' near the start of the video, as I'd hit the maximum flickr video length of 90s.]

The bridge in Kappeln opens at quarter to the hour, every hour. Lots of boats wait for the bridge to open, and I took this timelapse at one of the peak times.

Used a dumpsterdiving webcam. Easy, free - low quality though.

The riveting sight of me weeding the driveway...

Processed in Photoshop from 700-odd jpegs taken on my point and shoot Panasonic, so not brilliant quality initially, and PS seems to have degraded it further.

FCB 52 Week Challenge: Week 20 Timelapse

Here's another timelapse from our holiday on the Isle of Skye, this time round we're down on the South Coast of the island at a little cove just West of Tarskavig with the ruins of an old church sitting down next to the waters edge.

Top of thunderstorm being sheared off over McKinney, TX, 5/29/16.

I had to try this technique. I just thought it to be too interesting to let it pass by.

It's very basic, and since my remote is limited to 399 photos, it isn't very long.

Next is to try one with the internal interval methode with 999 photos.

Enjoy!

NOT EDITED...I was trying to learn water blur...still learning.

An old timelapse vid of Mike and Me at work processing x-rays of pipes, Geoff wanders in for a chin wag. Probably about half an hour in real time.

Timelapse movie from racetrack Playa. This is made up of the same frames used to make the composite star trails image I posted earlier.
