Timelapse of clouds rolling by

I let this beautiful sunset sneak up on me. I looked out the window today to realize an opportunity was being missed. Thankfully I am ready to roll out and timelapse at a moments notice.

I have been to Iceland four times and it wasn't't until this last trip that I saw the Northern Lights. Fortunately I was with my daughter so that she could witness this amazingness with me.

My one regret is that I did not bring another camera body with me and another tripod. The Canon R6 takes excellent Timelapse videos and you will see in this set it preformed very well in the Timelapse setting. Unfortunately, shooting Timelapse really ties your camera up for a long time. The northern lights were exploding in the sky above me and I couldn't

move my camera for fear of wrecking the Timelapse.

Although that is my one regret from the trip I was very glad that I did shoot the Timelapse video. That night I was so excited about the video that I uploaded the videos to my Instagram account. I was immediately contacted by Storyful offering to buy rights to one of the videos for a 60/40 split. As it turns out the money I received from the video will now pay for a second camera body.
