A 40 minute timelapse taken in Melbourne Florida

Frames taken with GoPro Hero 4 Session during 198 minutes, with 30 sec intervals. Video projection frame rate: 18 fps.

North=top, West=right, East=left. (Should have used 10 s interval...)

300 images shot with 10 second interval with a Pentax Optio W90. I used Canon Digital Photo Professional to tune the hue in a batch, and Quicktime Pro to make the movie. 15 images per second are displayed.

Nordnes, Bergen, Norway.

Amateur mistake! Forgot to switch camera to manual focus Grrrrrrrrr!!

This is the first time I've had a go at a timelapse. I have realised I have many things to learn on the post editing side of things. How did I do this? I attached my camera to my laptop and via the Canon software set up for a photo to be taken every 20 mins, i set the camera to f8 and exposure automatic. The first 2 photos were sat on a box of tissues which is why I think the stems are brighter at the bottom! Because of the different lighting levels I have struggled to maintain a simialr colour tone to each photo and ended up using the magic wand to change the background to black. If anyone can tell me a better method It would be much appreciated :-)

I filmed wellington city for my timelapse, I wanted to capture the transition from light to dark. I filmed for around 20 minutes and brought that down to 46 seconds as I felt like this best showed the transition. I really liked how the reflection of the buildings in the water came alive as it got darker

A short timelapse of the suburbs around the golf course in Bath. I wish I made it a little longer, but I didn't have my remote and was simply pressing the shutter button for every shot. Needles to say I got bored pretty quick. Watch at 720p full screen! www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTtnNR-u9LI

Sunset timelapse over Trout Lake

I simply couldn't get a photograph out of this sunset that I liked. So I took lots and stuck them together :)

Wish I had better video editing software, this could have done with a little more saturation.

Since my D80 doesn't do timelapse I tethered it to my MacBook Pro and used an automator workflow to shoot the sunset. I only wish I would have set it for more than 45 minutes. The sky just exploded after the sun went down below the horizon.

I've fancied having a go at some timelapse stuff using the dSLR for a while now so I thought I'd do a mini timelapse......using a mini!

Night Timelapse

Today I decided to shoot some timelapse from Cottonwood Canyon back through Summerlin on Hwy 159. Shooting the Ace Pro on a suction cup on my Jeep hood.

Timelapse during Perseids

First timelapse I tried with the Nikon D7100, much improved after learning more about how video works!

D7100, on tripod

Interval photography active

1 phone every 30 seconds

in software turned into video series

still duration 4 frames

converted to mp4 video

Next time will try manual focus and white balance, that should help with flickering effect, and also take more photos at faster interval to capture more detail.

So here's the timelapse I took while up on the roof here at work. I will say it is still very scary for me to leave my camera on a windy roof for a couple of hours without being able to see it. Especially because if it were to fall it would have fallen right past my window and I would have been able to see it's demise.

The timelapse I shot was a little longer but I though 30 seconds was enough.

Note on the song playing. I'm listening to NPR today at work and there was this artist that I've never heard of named Michael Kiwanuka. He's really good, listened to his interview and some of his work and shortly after bought it on iTunes. So the song playing is one of his.

Se han utilizado 386 fotografías para montar el timelapse, en el que 2 horas de vida real se ven reflejados en apenas 40 segundos de vídeo.
