At approximately 2pm each day the Penguins at Birdland are fed. Here, one of the parks staff accompanied by a member of the public hand feeds them fish. Gulls, hoping for a free meal, also descend on the area. The majority of the penguins are King Penguins (Aptenodytes patagonicus) although there are a small number of Humboldt Penguins (Spheniscus humboldti). Birdland is a zoological park for Aves in Bourton on the Water, Gloucestershire.
Near the start of this video, she clears her throat. Look for the puff of "dust".
She's known as Calamity Jane because of the scarring on her left cephalic fin. Likely she encountered trash line or net as a youngster, and ended up with it wrapped up, but not permanently.

This was the only source of water for plenty of people in this city.
Water that they should carry on their backs to their homes.
Doesn't look very clean to me.
And now for something completely different. Thought I'd try out Flickr video with a dodgy quality phone video of a beautiful sunset this evening on the way back from gym. Sorry about the squeaky wipers :) We will return to our scheduled programming shortly.

A nice long look at Mission Beach in San Diego, California. Nothing fancy hear. If you love the ocean then you'll enjoy the 90 seconds of a wide shot of the Pacific Ocean.
Obama Inaugural Opening Ceremony
"...there is no obstacle that can stand in the way of millions of voices calling for change."
Making marmalade for the first time while listening to Obama's inauguration speech.
Kinda random, I know. The marmalade came out super tangy and far better than the shop stuff. Looks like I've made a breakfast change to only eat my own marmalade now. :D
THE TIME FOR CHANGE IS HERE.

So I thought about doing this the other day and my Flickr contact Aaron Nace uploaded one first and his creation is an artistic & better idea. :)
However, it is HBWE and soon HBW so instead of a regular still photo with bokeh, I uploaded my first video-keh for "HBW" day. haha
I was not sure what title to use so I came up with these other titles.
Video keh
LA keh
Night keh

Call it whatever you like. LOL
Location: Los Angeles, CA. See previous photo for location.
SIDE NOTE: I hand held the video recorder because I only have one tripod quick release plate. My b-day is coming up so i will have to get me one. :-)
soggy cracker base
topped with staggered
marshmallow blobs,
a blob of jellied something,
and flaked coconut.
not horrible, but not good.
Little time lapse video I did with my 400D while making the tetris blocks used in this shot.
It was stressy working with a camera capturing everything. I even made an error (0:09 before the end)
Music: 'Roll Credits' by the lovely Kid Koala.
An artist who inspires me a lot with all his creative insanity :)
Here's a blog entry with my first attempt for this shot.
As earlier promised, I've re-done the whole sunset-timelapse thing.
Every sunset is different; this is the one I saw.
