Built in 1980, this Buddhist temple, situated off Tuaran Road, has traditional Chinese roofing and structure. Ten large statues of deities, including Kwan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy stand at the main entrance of the temple. The radio was playing some wild jazz and Sunny was hollering right along until I approached with the camera. She's blind after having a rare reaction to the pre-anesthesia for her spay surgery. The good news is after she came to and gradually recovered, this former feral is now all lovey-dovey! She'll need bloodwork and a thorough check-up before she can be adopted, but she'll make someone one cool and groovy companion ;) ADOPTED!
Alright. I'm hitting rock bottom here. I'm sick and I'm bored. Don't blame me, blame the sick bugs that have infiltrated my system. They made me do it.
YAY. Today is my first anniversary on Flickr.
Little did I know HOW much my life would change within this one year. Soooo many things happened during this year.
Went to the beautiful city of Paris, photographed my first paid job, split up with my girlfriend (the first I ever lived together with), appeared on the Explore Frontpage, got two job offers of which I accepted the one in Tirol, had my first Flickr romance, moved to Austria, Tirol (for sure one of the most beautiful countries in the world - at least according to my taste), got a mail from Getty Images (with some chance I will start selling some of my images in march)
and most importantly: I MADE FANTASTIC NEW FRIENDS THROUGH FLICKR!!!
YOU are the best! I thank you so much for all your lovely messages, comments and encouragement!
So before I get all sentimental I'll stop writing...
