I am glad I was able to take a break and spend my vacation to this beautiful and remote island. The place is not yet discovered by tourist, thus the island is unspoiled. I felt quite a bit lucky because of the good weather and we just enjoyed the scenery, the white powdery sand as well as its beautiful sunset. I simply love the place.

time, time, time. where did all our time go? whenever i look at my wall of photos i think to myself, half of my friends moved away, and some i left behind. though of course we still keep in touch, or try to anyway. it's almost another year since most of my friends left from sophomore year, my best friends. but we will reunite again just like this spring break, we will reunite in summer, in greece.
and this is the reason why i love to take pictures, making memories stay.

Time to take Sony out!
I had been playing around with the fun and easy little Fuji quite awhile and the more classy and serious Sony had been neglected way too long. Now it was Sony's time to hit the trails!
Went to this little lake at a nature reserve and took a few hundred shots. Yet another beautiful evening on the trails.

i have to admit that i felt some discomfort in my trough ,gas pollution wich is not so good but with a bit of wind it makes a big difference .
i had to run out to get this shot ,in 10 min i got dressed ,drove almost 7km and was out of the car shooting ,i got maby 10 min of shooting ,amazing colour and the sky was on fire ,so glad i ran out ,lucky me hubby was on his way home to get dinner wich was ready on the stove :)
No, I didn't eat all of these delicious chocolates and I didn't eat one each and every hour ~ just had a couple after taking this shot!!

Klaus Rinke's "Time Field " consists of 24 station clocks which are mounted on 6 m high pillars and which all display the same time. The visitor wanders through the "Time Field" and experiences the finiteness of things, the passing of time. The work of art was created in 1987 for the Federal Garden Show in Düsseldorf.

This is a b&w photo that I have colorized, and then digitally added the clock-face in GIMP. Once I had obtained the right perspective for the clock (to make it look like it was lying on the shore-line), the trick, then, was to make it appear that part of it was submerged under the water.
The clock face image was kindly supplied as part of the 41st MMM challenge.

For the first time since the late - but legendary - Pete McLachlan ran a single Budd RDC into Pittsfield in April 1971, direct passenger service from New York City to the Berkshires is once again a reality. The Amtrak Berkshire Flyer runs east through Chatham NY with 50th Anniversary unit #108 in charge. While the routing is not via the former New Haven RR Berkshire Line, instead it is via Albany-Renssalear and the CSX Berkshire Sub, I'd like to think it still would have made Pete smile.
