An old Color Tile sign along Route 45 in Deptford, NJ, last used by Blockbuster Video. COLOR would fill the top portion and TILE in the bottom squares. Color Tile was a chain of flooring stores owned by Tandy who was also Radio Shack's parent company. Sometimes it was called Color Tile Supermarket.
While walking through a Buddhist temple I noticed that all the walls were covered in tiles I went in closer and shot this photo.

Pool time at a local bar. At one point I looked down and saw these wooden tiles that looked like these could be moved to generate a pattern. Did not win a single game but Bell's Hopslam [goo.gl/ld35GB] was awesome.

Incredible colours (unedited!) in the traditional fishing village of São Pedro da Afurada, Vila Nova de Gaia (Porto district).
The patterns on the tiles are completely different from the ones in the city of Porto, on the other side of the Douro river.

There was a Trent Tile Company in Trenton, New Jersey, USA; it opened as Harris Manufacturing in 1882, was renamed Trent Tile in 1883 and closed in 1939. There was also a less well known Trent Art Tile Company in Swadlincote, Derbyshire; there are some liquidation accounts from 1901 in the National Archive at Kew, one day I will get there! Given I bought the tile from Michael Swann who lives a few miles from Swadlincote, I favour the UK factory as the maker of this example, though I am not aware many tiles from the Swadlincote factory are known.

I did these in a transom window over the back door on a screened porch....we sleep out there in summer.

Mosaic Tiles On The Outer Wall of Golestan Palace.
Golestān Palace (Persian: کاخ گلستان) pronounced "Kakheh Golestān" is the former royal Qajar complex in Iran's capital city.
The oldest of the historic monuments in Tehran, the Golestan Palace (also Gulistan Palace) (The Rose Garden Palace) belongs to a group of royal buildings that were once enclosed within the mud-thatched walls of Tehran’s Historic Arg (citadel).
In its present state, Golestan Palace is the result of roughly 400 years construction and renovations. The buildings at the contemporary location each have a unique history
کاخ گلستان مجموعه‌ای از بناها است که در میدان ارگ تهران واقع است. بناهای این کاخ در زمان‌های مختلف ساخته شده‌اند.
نام آن از تالار گلستان واقع در عمارت خروجی گرفته شده‌است .
شروع آن به ارگ تاریخی تهران و زمان شاه طهماسب اول باز می‌گردد ولی در دورهٔ قاجار گسترش فراوانی یافت و محل سکونت شاهان قاجار بود.
در زمان پهلوی جهت مراسم رسمی و محل اقامت روسای جمهور و مهمانان ویژهٔ خارجی استفاده می‌شد. با این وجود قسمت‌هایی از آن در این زمان تخریب گردید.
اتفاق‌های مهمی از تاریخ معاصر ایران در این مجموعه به وقوع پیوسته‌است.
در حال حاضر به صورت موزه مورد استفاده قرار دارد.
منظره‌ای از کاخ گلستان در یک سوی اسکناس های پنج هزار ریالی از سال ۱۳۴۸ هجری خورشیدی تا سال ۱۳۵۷ چاپ و نشر می‌شد.
Screen primted tiles from the late 1950's - the dust pressed tiles had a date on them, these were made for outdoor use (if necessary) from plastic clay, and have no date mark.
