I love my camera, the macro lens shows you such detail not apparent to the naked eye - this looks like its been hit by tiny tiny hailstones

It's winter. I have to keep reminding myself. 40 degrees and the plants are doing fine. What an unusual winter!

Purchased this little plant at Sprouts, and Stu planted it in the herb garden. Yummy, Lemon Thyme is my favourite!

This is Thyme, one of a pair of turkeys that travel with Millers Ark to schools and events to show people and to help teach them about farm animals. Despite their names both Thyme and his partner Rosemary will be around long after the Christmas season has ended.

Super easy and very delicious - blogged here.

Raspberry Thyme Smash. This cocktail is in the July issue of Bon Appetit magazine. I substituted blackberries as that's what I had on hand, and it's delicious!

Homemade fresh raspberry sauce on vanilla ice cream, sprinkled with lemon thyme!

Thyme Pink-Bells (Tetratheca thymifolia). Darling little plants, these! [Mountain Lagoon, Wollemi National Park, NSW]

The thyme has started to bloom all over the garden. Tomorrow I'll use both the leaves & flowers to make a pasta.

Great simple recipe to have in anyone's recipe box. It's so tasty! I will definitely make this again. The lemon thyme I used was fresh off of my new Stokes Farm herbal wreath. This lovely wreath was purchased at a local chocolate expo and stays good for one year.
